Un gran complejo lúdico-cultural impulsado por
la Generalitat Valenciana, que se ha convertido en
lugar de referencia internacional, tanto por su
arquitectura (obra de Santiago Calatrava y Félix
Candela), como por su capacidad para divertir,
enseñar y emocionar a través de los contenidos
mostrados en el Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (teatro
de la ópera), el Hemisfèric (IMAX y proyecciones
digitales), el Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe,
el Umbracle (mirador y aparcamiento), el Ágora y
el Oceanogràfic (acuario). La Ciudad de las Artes
y las Ciencias simboliza la apuesta por el turismo
cultural con que la Comunidad Valenciana se
presenta ante el mundo.

El Hemisfèric es un singular y espectacular
edificio, que representa un gran ojo
humano, el ojo de la sabiduría. Su interior
alberga una gran esfera que constituye la
sala de proyecciones más grande de
España, con dos sistemas de proyección:

The Hemisfèric is a unique and spectacular
building that represents a large human eye,
the eye of wisdom. It houses a large sphere
that forms the largest film auditorium in
Spain, with two projection systems:

nuestros mares y océanos. Durante tu visita al Oceanogràfic,
pasarás por diversos ecosistemas marinos, como el tropical,
el ártico o el antártico, donde encontrarás una gran variedad
de especies de animales, como las morsas, las belugas,
los tiburones o los delfines, entre muchas otras.
Además, contarás con exhibiciones de mamíferos marinos,
restaurantes con vistas al parque y tiendas temáticas.

OCEANOGRÀFIC
Immerse yourself in magical, natural surroundings where
you can see the most surprising species from our seas and
oceans up close. During your visit to the Oceanogràfic,
you’ll see different marine eco-systems such as the tropics,
the Arctic and the Antarctic, where you’ll find a great variety
of animal species such as walruses, belugas (white whales),
sharks and dolphins, among many others.

La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias cuenta con todos los servicios necesarios
para realizar una visita placentera: áreas de descanso, aparcamientos, espacios
para niños, visitas guiadas, préstamo de silla de ruedas, guardarropa, cajeros,
servicio médico…
The City of Arts and Sciences has all of the services necessary to have a
pleasant visit: rest areas, car parks, children’s areas, guided tours, wheelchair
lending, cloakroom, cash dispensers, medical service, etc.
En nuestras tiendas encontrarás productos exclusivos, así como artículos relacionados
con la temática de las películas, exposiciones y animales que se encuentran
actualmente en nuestras instalaciones, además de una gran variedad de libros
sobre ciencia, naturaleza y publicaciones propias (www.cac.es/tiendaonline).
En las zonas de restauración y cafetería, disfrutarás de una amplia oferta gastronómica
en la cafetería del Hemisfèric, en el restaurante Free-Flow del Museo de las Ciencias
Príncipe Felipe y en los restaurantes, pizzerías y heladerías del Oceanogràfic.
También cocina de vanguardia en el Restaurante Submarino.
La cantina, ubicada en el Umbracle, destinada a grupos de escolares que
lleven consigo su propia comida, tiene capacidad para 90 niños. Este servicio
se puede reservar gratuitamente, previa adquisición de cualquier tipo de
entrada del Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe o el Hemisfèric, llamando
al (+34) 902 100 031.
El Pase Anual de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias es la llave que te
permitirá acceder al Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe, el Oceanogràfic
y el Hemisfèric de forma ilimitada durante todo un año.
In our shops you’ll find exclusive products as well as articles related to the
themes of the films, exhibitions and animals that are currently on view on our
premises, as well a great variety of books on science, nature, and our own
publications (www.cac.es/tiendaonline).
In the restaurant and cafeteria areas, you’ll be able to enjoy the gastronomy
on offer in the Hemisfèric’s cafeteria, the Science Museum Príncipe Felipe’s
Free-Flow restaurant and the Oceanogràfic’s restaurants, pizzerias and icecream parlours. And also avant-garde cuisine in the Underwater Restaurant.
The canteen is located in the Umbracle and is intended for school groups that
bring their own food. It can cater for 90 children. This service can be booked
for free on (+34) 902 100 031, after acquiring any kind of entrance ticket to
the Science Museum Príncipe Felipe or the Hemisfèric.
The City of Arts and Sciences’ Annual Pass is the key that will enable you to
enter the Science Museum Príncipe Felipe, the Oceanogràfic and the Hemisfèric
with no limits all year.
