The “Gene and Cell Therapy group2, led by Drs Francisco Martin and Per Anderson at the Center
for Genomics and Oncological Research (GENyO), is looking for a postdoctoral candidate willing to
apply for a “Juan de la Cierva” schoolarship (training or incorporation) co-funded by the Spanish
Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. Deadlines:
Juan de la Cierva incorporation: Deadline: 29 January 2015.
Juan de la Cierva training:
Deadline: 3 February 2015.

We offer two positions to work on:

Gene therapy of inhereted diseases. Especial focus in Lentiviral vectors and gene edition

Understanding the biology of mesenchymal stromal cells and their role in: 1- cancer and 2their application in cell therapy for autoimmune disease. Please contact Dr Per Anderson:

Candidates Requirement:
-PhD awarded between January 2010-December 2012 (incorporation)
-PhD awarded between January 2013-December 2014 (training)
-At least 2 (training) or 4 (incorporation) first author publications in international journals
-Expertise in at least one of these areas is highly desired although not required:
(i) Human stem cells (mesenchymal, haematopoietic or embryonic)
(ii) Viral vectors for gene therapy applications.
