All of this creates a diversity of ecosystems that gives the visitor the opportunity to see more than 300 birds in just a few days of birding. This quick guide presents the illustrations of more than 140 species of birds common to the Riviera Nayarit region, including 21 endemic species. Most illustrations show adult males while some depict male and female of the species. Many migratory species appear in winter plumage while endemic species are circled.
