This time last year we closed the year with a deficit. We are
happy to say we closed 2015, in better shape. With the help of
your generosity in the Special Collection, we raised
$ 18, 358. 91 . Your participation in various social activities,
including the monthly Food sale, we were able to raise
$ 19, 404. 55This income has enabled us to invest in our facilities. Repairs were done to the Rectory, the choir loft, the public address system, the main doors, and the elevator.
The Sunday Collections for the year 2015, was $ 269, 302.94
and our expenses for the year were $ 265, 698.61.
Without the Special Collections and the Social Activities, we
would have run another deficit.
We have also acquired two new gas ranges for the Kitchen,
which involved bringing a gas line through to the kitchen. We
are currently working on purchasing an above the counter
dishwasher, for commercial use, which will be placed in the
back kitchen. We are also going to replace the ceiling tines in
the Parish Hall, as one of our projects for this year.
Our Expenses are reduced as we have two less on staff, plus
we have economized in the Rectory and Church. On the plus
side our attendance has increased , consequently so has the
Sunday Collection.
El año pasado-2014 cerramos con un déficit. Estamos felices
de comunicarles que el año 2015 logramos cerrarlo en mejor
forma. Con la ayuda de su generosidad en las colectas especiales, reunimos $ 18, 358.91 Y su participación en las diversas
actividades sociales, entre ellas, la venta de comida mensual.
Pudimos recaudar $ 19, 404. 55 . Estos ingresos nos han permitido invertir en las instalaciones de nuestra Parroquia.
La Colecta Dominical del año 2015, fue de $ 269, 302.94 y
nuestros gastos totales fueron de $ 265,698.61.
Sin las Colectas Especiales y las actividades sociales, habríamos
incurrido en otro déficit.
Se hicieron trabajos de reparación en la Rectoría, en la parte
alta del coro, el sistema de micrófonos y sonido, las puertas
principales de la Iglesia y el ascensor. También hemos adquirido dos nuevas cocinas de gas, a lo que requirió hacer una conexión de gas.
Como nuevos proyectos para este año. Estamos trabajando en
la compra de una lavadora de platos, para uso comercial, que
se colocarán en la cocina, reparación del cielo falso del Salón
Parroquial.
Nuestros gastos son reducidos, porque tenemos dos personas
menos en el personal parroquial, además hemos economizado
en la casa parroquial y la Iglesia. En el lado positivo de los Ingresos es porque la asistencia de feligreses han aumentado , y
por consiguiente aumenta la colecta Dominical.
