Basados en informacion recibida del Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia, se espera que el
Huracan Matthew impacte el estado de la Florida y el condado de Highlands. Por lo tanto,
las escuelas estanin cerradas el J ueves, 6 de Octubre y el Viemes, 7 de Octubre. Todas
las actividades extra-curriculares tambien estan canceladas para ambos dias.
Por favor esten al tanto por si fuese necesario mantener cerradas las escuelas despues que la
tormenta pase para que podamos mantener abiertos los refugios de emergencia y/o por falta
de electricidad u otros servicios utiles.

Based on the advisory information we have at this time, Hurricane Matthew is expected to have an
impact on Central Florida and Highlands County. Therefore, school will be closed Thursday,
October 6th, and Friday, October 7, 2016. In addition, all extra-curricular activities scheduled
for Thursday and Friday are canceled.
Please be aware that it may be necessary to cancel school after the storm passes due to shelters at
some of our schools and /or loss of power and/or other utility services.
