NOTICE OF REGULAR ELECTION
AVISO DE ELECCIÓN REGULAR
To the Registered Voters of the City of New Braunfels, Texas:
A los Votantes Registrados en la Ciudad de New Braunfels, Texas.
Notice is hereby given that the polling places listed below will be open
from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on May 7, 2016, for voting in a regular election to
elect a Mayor, Councilmember from District 1, and a Councilmember from District
2.
Notifiquese, por las presente, que las casillas electorales sitados abajo se
abrirán desde las 7:00 AM hasta las 7:00 PM el día 7 de mayo de 2016 para
votar en la Elección Regular para elegir an Alcalde, miembro del Consejo del
Distrito 1, y a miembro del Consejo del Distrito 2.

Early voting in the election by personal appearance shall be for the period
permitted by law, which will begin on April 25, 2016, and continue through May 3,
2016. The place at which such early voting shall be conducted is Comal County
Elections Office, 178 E. Mill Street. The hours designated for early voting by
personal appearance shall be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on each day for early
voting which is not a Saturday, Sunday, official state holiday, or a 12 hour early
voting day. Additionally, early voting by personal appearance will be conducted
on April 27, 2016, and May 2, 2016, for twelve hour periods from 7:00 a.m. to
7:00 p.m., and on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Votar temprano personalmente será durante el periodo permitido por la
ley y comenzará el día 25 de Abril de 2016 y continuara hasta el día 3 de Mayo
de 2016.
El lugar indicado para votar temprano será Comal County
Commissioners Court Building, 178 E. Mill Street. Las horas designadas para
votar personalmente durante este periodo será de 8:00 AM hasta las 4:30 PM
siempre y cuando no sea Sábado o Domingo o día festivo Estatal, o un día de
votar temprano de 12 horas. Adicionalmente votación temprano en persona será
llevada a cabo los días 27 de Abril de 2016 y el 2 de Mayo de 2016 por un
periodo de 12 horas a partir de las 7:00 AM a las 7:00 PM y el Sábado 30 de
Abril de 2016 entre las 9:00 AM hasta las 1:00 PM.
The early voting clerk’s mailing address to which the ballot applications
and ballots voted by mail may be sent is City Secretary, 424 S. Castell Avenue,
New Braunfels, Texas, 78130. Applications for ballots by mail must be received
no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 22, 2016.
La dirección del Secretaría de votación temprana, para que las
