Dr. José Luis Güell-­‐Curriculum Vitae Formación El Dr. José Luís Güell se licenció en Medicina y cirugía en la Universidad Central de Barcelona (1977-­‐1984). En julio de 1999 presentó su tesis Doctoral Cum Laude “ Queratomileusis in situ asistida con el Láser. Desarrollo de la técnica para la corrección de la miopía y el astigmatismo“ en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Realizó su residencia en la Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, Hospital Vall d’Hebró (1986-­‐ 1989), además de un Fellowship en la unidad de Córnea de la Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Emory University, Atlanta (1989). Áreas de interés -­‐ -­‐ -­‐ -­‐ Queratoplastia lamelar y endotelial Cirugía compleja de la catarata Procedimientos reconstructivos del segmento anterior, incluyendo la Queratoprótesis (o córnea artificial) Cirugía Refractiva, especialmente Laser Excimer y de femtosegundo, así como la implantación de lentes intraoculares fáquicas ( Artisan-­‐Artiflex) y de anillos intraestromales.
