o Texas State attendance requirements states that all students
enrolled are required to be present at school 90% of the
school year.
o Parents are required to send a note if a student is absent.
o When a student must be absent from school, the student,
within three school days upon returning to school, must bring
a note signed by the parent that describes the reason for the
absence.
o Parents will be contacted when a child is absent more than
two consecutive days.
o Excessive absences can result in a child being removed from
the Pre- Kindergarten program.
o After ten unexcused absences a student will be removed from
the Pre K program.
