Installation Instructions
Please note: Positioning the pushbutton or door chime on or near metal
structures or reinforced PVC doors or doorframes will reduce the transmission
range.
While plugged in to an electrical outlet, press and hold button A and
B until the plug-in chime sounds. The chime will play all of the tunes
available indicating that previous programs have been erased. Return
to the Programming Doorbell Pushbutton Transmitters and repeat section.
Install the Door Chime
Plug the Plug-in Chime into any electrical outlet within the house. The
chime must be within transmission range of the Doorbell pushbutton.
The Plug-in Chime will play all of the tunes that are available when it
is first powered up.
Program the Doorbell Pushbutton Transmitters
Press the Front Doorbell pushbutton and the chime will respond
with a tune. This indicates that the pushbutton has been programmed
to the chime. Program the Back Doorbell pushbutton by pressing the
Back Doorbell pushbutton and the chime will respond with a tune.
NOTE: Programming of the Back Doorbell pushbutton must be
completed within 2 minutes of programming the Front Doorbell
pushbutton or the plug-in chime will not accept it. If this happens
you will need to Reset the chime programming. Please reference “To Reset
the Chime Programming” section if needed.
Sound Selection (Refer to Figure 1)
Front Doorbell Pushbutton—Press Button A until you hear the desired
chime. You can change the chime at any time by pressing this button.
Back Doorbell Pushbutton—Press Button B until you hear the
desired chime.

The volume adjustment knob C (Figure
1) enables you to adjust the volume of
your door chime at any time.
Check that the battery has been inserted correctly. The doorbell pushbutton LED light
should come on when the pushbutton is pressed.
Doorbell pushbutton may be positioned out of range of the door chime.
Move the door chime closer to the pushbutton.
Note: During the programming cycle, the transmission range may be reduced and will
resume optimum range after 2 minutes.
A metallic object may be blocking the signal to the door chime from the pushbutton
position. Experiment with the location of the door chime to see if you can move it to a
more suitable place.
Battery in the pushbutton may need replacing.
When pushed, the pushbutton LED will flash 5 times when the battery needs replacing.
See instruction for Installing the Battery.
Note: In cold conditions, poor location or environment, operating at maximum range it
is advisable to replace the battery more frequently (i.e. every 12-18 months) to maintain
optimum performance.
Your pushbutton and chime haven’t been programmed. Reset the automatic
programming of your chime and doorbell pushbutton by Pressing and holding down
chime selection buttons A and B (Figure 1) for 5 seconds. The chime will sound all of
the tunes available indicating the programming has been erased. Program the doorbell
pushbutton following the installation instructions.

Chime doesn’t sound when pushbutton is pressed

For a period of two years from the date of purchase, any malfunction caused by
factory defective parts or workmanship will be corrected at no charge to you. To obtain a
refund or replacement, return the product to the place of purchase.
NOT COVERED: Repair service, adjustment and calibration due to misuse, abuse
or negligence. Unauthorized service or modification of the product or of any furnished
component will void this warranty. This warranty does not include reimbursement for
inconvenience, installation, setup time, loss of use or unauthorized service.
This warranty covers only IQ America products and is not extended to other
equipment and components that a customer uses in conjunction with our products.
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied,
including any warranty, representation or condition of merchant ability or that the
products are fit for any particular purpose or use, and specifically in lieu of all special,
indirect or incidental or consequential damages.

Instrucciones Para Instalar
Favor de Notar: Instalar el botón o campanilla en o cerca de superficies
metálicos o puertas o marcos de PVC reforzados puede reducir el alcance

Transmisores de los Botones y repetir esta sección.
Instalar la Campanilla
Enchufar la Campanilla de Corriente en un enchufe electrico dentro
de la casa. La campanilla tiene que estar dentro del alcance del
transmisor del Botón de la puerta. La campanilla sonará todas las
melodías disponibles cuando se prende por primera vez.
Resolver Problemas
Programar los transmisores de los Botones de las puertas.
Apretar el Botón de la Puerta Delantera hasta que la campanilla
responde con un tono. Esto indica que el botón ha sido programado a
la campanilla. Programar el Botón de la Otra Puerta al apretar el Botón
de la Otra Puerta hasta sonar la campanilla. Tiene que programar
el Botón de la Otra Puerta en menos de 2 minutos después de
programar el botón de la puerta delantera. Si demora más tiempo
la campanilla no lo acepta. Si esto pasa, tendrá que Reprogramar la
campanilla. Favor de referir a “Reprogramar la Campanilla” si es necesario.
Seleccionar el Sonido (Referir a la Figura 1)
La Puerta Delantera—Apretar Botón A hasta escuchar el tono
deseado. Puede cambiar el tono en cualquier momento al apretar
este botón.
Botón de la Otra Puerta—Apretar Botón B hasta escuchar el
tono deseado.

Cotejar que todas las pilas han sido insertadas correctamente. La luz LED de los
botones debe encender cuando el botón es apretado.
Es posible que el botón esté demasiado distante de la campanilla.
Mover la campanilla más cerca al botón.
Notar: Durante el ciclo de programación, el alcance de la transmisión puede ser reducido
y volverá a su alcance óptima después de 2 minutos.
Un objeto metálico entre el botón y la campanilla puede bloquear la señal.
Experimentar con la posición de la campanilla para ver si hay un lugar más apropiado
La pila en el botón puede ser agotada.
Cuando el botón está apretado, el LED en el botón encenderá 5 veces cuando la pila
necesita ser cambiada. Ver instrucciones para Instalar la Pila.
Notar: Cuando hace frío, o en un lugar o ambiente desfavorable, o operar al alcance
máximo es recomendable cambiar la pila con más frecuencia (por ejemplo, cada 12-18
meses) para mantener funcionamiento óptimo.
Los botones y la campanilla no han sido programados. Iniciar la programación de
su campanilla y botón y campanilla al apretar y mantener apretados los botones A
y B (Figura 1) por 5 segundos. La campanilla sonará todas las melodías disponibles
indicando que la programación ha sido borrada. Programar el botón según las
instrucciones de instalación.
