Haber sido acosada sexualmente por un compañero de
trabajo y aprender a manejar la situación sin que se vea
afectado mi rendimiento profesional.
What has been your main professional challenge?
Having been sexually harassed by a fellow coworker and
learning to deal with that by raising my voice and not letting
my professional work get affected.
¿Cuál ha sido tu mayor logro a la fecha?
A pesar de mi edad he ayudado a demostrar que todas las
mujeres sin importar cuán jóvenes o mayores sean tienen
un mensaje importante que compartir. Nunca he dejado de
trabajar en mi misma ya sea innovándome o
reinventándome dentro de un mundo conservador.
¿Qué te gustaría lograr profesionalmente?
Me encantaría que fuera imposible para los hombres
sentirse con derechos de acosar a las mujeres bajo el
pretexto de “usa falda entonces se lo estaba
buscando”. O por lo menos que hayan consecuencias
reales en donde las mujeres no sean minimizadas como
víctimas o peor aún que se catalogue su comentario
como exagerados. Mi gran meta es que ninguna niña
tenga que vivir lo que yo he vivido.
What would you like to achieve professionally?
I would love to make it impossible for men to feel entitled
to harass women under the pretext of “she wore a skirt
so she was asking for it”. Or to at least for them to have
real consequences where women aren’t minimized as
victims or even worse, called over reactors. My ultimate
goal is that no girl will ever have to experience what I’ve
had.

Economy & Society?
Creo firmemente en que las mujeres necesitan tener una
voz, especialmente en una cultura tan dominada por
hombres. Creo en lo que está logrando el Women’s Forum
al nivel mundial.
Why have you decided to attend the Women’s Forum
for the Economy & Society?
I believe women need a voice, especially in a maledominated culture like Mexico, I believe in what the
Women’s Forum is doing worldwide.
Who would be your hero and why?
My grandmother Marichu and my brother Jaime,
because they showed me that heroes are found in the
