PASTOR’S CORNER
Dear Parishioners,
Alleluia!! He is Risen!!
“The Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed.” “It is as if a man were to scatter seed on
the land, and would sleep and rise night and day, and through it all the seed would sprout
and grow, he knows not how.”
Is this not what we are experiencing here at St. Patrick Parish? The smallest of seeds:
family prayer, a desire to love the Sacred Heart, a willingness to reach out to new people,
a commitment to spend time with Jesus in adoration. These are the small seeds that have
been planted, along with many more that have been scattered around our parish. And
now, as we look around, the land is bearing its fruit.
It takes a trained and attentive eye to see the growth, and patient hard work to cultivate it.
The wonderful success of the enthronement to the Sacred Heart is just such a fruit. Praise
God! God is bringing our plants to maturity, and is inviting us to share in the harvest, even
as we prepare for a second planting when we move further Into the Deep!
Please know that I keep each of you in my prayers, and please pray for me also. God bless
you!
In the Risen One,
Fr. B.
ESQUINA
DEL PASTOR
Estimados Hermanos,
Padre B.
