 Maikel Melero ends the Red Bull X-Fighters series with a
very good result
Last Friday, Abu Dhabi was the scene of last stop of the Red Bull XFighters Series where the 12 best riders in the World compete.
After a great fourth place in the qualifying round, Maikel Melero faced
Remi Bizouard in the quarterfinals. The Spanish showed a great run and
convinced the judges beating the French rider 5-0, his rival in the IFMXF
World Championship.
In the following round, semi finals, Maikel had to fight with 2015
champion Clinton Moore and it was impossible to win despite the spanish
rider’s good run.
The Red Bull X-Fighters Series finished with an excellent result for
Maikel, which gives him more confidence for the last stops of the World
Championship.

Maikel Melero acaba el campeonato Red Bull X-Fighters con
un muy buen resultado
El pasado viernes Abu Dhabi fue el escenario de la ultima parada de las
series Red Bull X-Fighters donde se dieron cita los 12 mejores riders del
mundo.
Después de su magnífico cuarto puesto en la clasificación, a Maikel Melero
le tocaba enfrentarse a Remi Bizouard en los cuartos de final. El español
convenció a los jueces y arrasó en una espectacular ronda, venciendo 5-0 al
francés Remi Bizouard, también rival en el Mundial de Freestyle. Maikel,
de esta forma pasó a semifinales.
En el siguiente enfrentamiento, le tocó luchar con el ya coronado Clinton
Moore y superarle fue imposible a pesar de la buena ronda del albaceteño.
La temporada X-Fighters de da por concluida con un excelente resultado
para Maikel que da mas confianza si cabe para afrontar la recta final del
Campeonato del Mundo.
