March is Celebrate Reading month! Last week's theme was "Technology Week". This week's theme is "International
Book Week". Share some facts you have learned about another country or share the title of a book that takes place in
another place! Remember soccer club with be cancelled on Thursday March 24th and Friday March 25th.

How to Read Student Progress Reports (Report Cards) on Thursday April 7th at 8:30 am in the Library. Every family will
be given a flyer that counts as a raffle ticket. Please make sure to bring your child’s report card and bring your flyer for
the raffle!
PICTURE DAY!
Thursday, APRIL 21ST is picture day! Class Pictures will be taken. We need two volunteers to assist for the day from
9:30-3:00. Volunteers will receive free pictures! If you are able to volunteer, please call the office at 206-252-8100.
OUTSIDE ENTRANCE/EXIT DOORS
We need your help to keep our students and school community safe at Concord International School. During school
hours we use the new door bell and buzzer system. The front lobby doors will be open from 9:20-9:45am and the
cafeteria/gym foyer doors will be open from 9:00-9:20am and 3:30-3:50pm. If you have an appointment, need to speak
with the office or pick up/drop off your student between 9:45am – 3:30pm please ring the doorbell located by the lobby
doors. For the safety of our students we ask that between these hours if you are in the building that you do not let
anyone in the doors. Please let the office know if you see any adults or students that don’t have a visitors pass so we
can follow-up. Thank you for helping keep our school community safe!
HEALTH NEWS
It is still Cold, Flu and Lice season; please remind children to wash hands before and after
eating. Wipe down tables, counter tops and doorknobs regularly. If you are able and willing,
please donate tissue boxes, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes. If you borrowed clothes
from the nurse’s office, please wash and return them to Concord. Head Lice information:

Marzo es el mes en que celebramos el mes de lectura. El tema la semana pasada fue
“Technología” . Esta semana el tema es “Semana Internacional del Libro”. Recuerde que el
club de fútbol fue cancelado en:jueves 24 de marzo y viernes 25 de marzo.

El horario de la comunidad de Concord!!! !Que no deven de perderderse ustedes este mes!
Es el horario de la comunidad en Concord el jueves 7 de abril a las 8:30 am. “Como leer el
informe del progreso del estudiante (tarejeta de reporte).” Cada familia recibira un volante
que vale como un boleto de rifa! Por favor asegurense de traer las calificaciones de su nin͂ o(a)
y su boleto de rifa!
! Día de foto ! Jueves 21 de abril es el día de tomarse las fotos! Se tomaran las fotos de las
clases. Nesecitamos dos voluntarios para asistir ese día desde las 9:30-3:00pm. Los
voluntarios recibirán fotos gratis! Su usted puede ser un voluntario, favor de llamar a la
oficina:206-252-8100.
PUERTAS EXTERIORES DE ENTRADA/SALIDA:
Necesitamos de su ayuda para salvaguardar la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y comunidad de la Escuela Concord Internacional.
Durante las horas de clases se estará utilizando el nuevo sistema del timbre para poder acezar a la escuela. Las puertas del vestíbulo
del frente se abrirán de 9:20-9:45am y las puertas del vestíbulo hacia la cafetería /gimnasio estarán abiertas de 9:00-9:20am y de
3:30-3:50pm. Si usted tiene una cita, necesita hablar al personal de la oficina o si necesita dejar o recoger a su estudiante de 9:45am
– 3:30pm favor de tocar el timbre que se encuentra localizado a un lado de las puertas del vestíbulo del frente. Por seguridad a
nuestros estudiantes les pedimos que no deje entrar a nadie durante este horario si es que usted se encuentra en la escuela.
Favor de informar a la oficina si usted viese a cualquier estudiante o adulto que no tenga un pase para que nosotros podamos
darle seguimiento. ¡Gracias por mantener a nuestra comunidad escolar segura!
NOTICIAS SOBRE SALUD: La temporada de Gripas, Influenza y Piojos continúa. Favor de recomendarle a sus hijo/as que se laven sus
manos antes y después de comer. Limpie sus mesas, mostradores y agarraderas de puertas frecuentemente. Le pedimos de favor
que si usted está en la disposición y posibilidad nos done caja de kleenex, frasco con sanitizador de manos y toallitas
desinfectantes para los salones de clase. Si su niño/a usó ropa prestada de la escuela, favor de lavarla y regresarla. Información
