Learning even just a little bit of the language will make the most difference in your time because as we learned earlier, most cultures are relational instead of taskoriented. This will mean more to them than all the things you “do” while on the trip! Remember that the more you understand the country where we are going, the more accurately you will understand the people you meet there.
