 May 2, 2016 Dear Lighthouse Families, We hope you had a nice and relaxed weekend! As some of you may already know, this upcoming Wednesday, May 4th​

, the Safe Harbor After School Program will be hosting our Annual Earth Day Celebration! This event is open to everyone, including non­ASP students and their families and will be happening on our playground. During this celebration, our very own LCCS High School Seniors will be fundraising through the sale of healthy and delicious snacks and beverages. All snacks and beverages will be priced between $1­$5 and all funds will go towards their final Senior trip as Lighthouse students. During this event, you will have the opportunity to participate in fun and exciting activities (and earn ASP “money”) such as: ● Creating Boats for a Boat Race with our very own Creativity Lab ● Natural Body Products Making ● Guacamole Making Contest ● Fun games ● Face Painting and so much more! We will also be hosting a Swap Meet where you will be able to purchase gently used clothes and items with the ASP “Money” you earn by participating in the above activities. In preparation of this joyous event, we are also asking families to donate any gently used clothing, shoes, toys and/or books you no longer need for our Swap Meet. es la Celebración Anual del Día de La Tierra del Programa Después de Escuela de Puerto Seguro. Este evento está abierto a todos, incluyendo estudiantes y familias que no sean parte del Programa Después de Escuela. Durante esta celebración, nuestros estudiantes del grado 12 tendrán una venta de alimentos y refrescos saludables y deliciosos. Todas los refrescos y alimentos van a costar entre $1 y $5. Todos los fondos irán hacia el último paseo de la clase del grado 12. Durante este evento, van a tener la oportunidad de ganar “dinero” de ASP a través de actividades divertidas como: ● Construir Barcos para una Carrera de Barcos con nuestra propia clase de Creatividad. ● Creando productos naturales para el cuerpo ● Concurso de Guacamole ● Juegos divertidos ● ¡Pinturas de cara y mucho más! También tendremos un Remate donde podrán comprar ropa con poco uso y articulos con el “Dinero” de ASP. En preparación de este evento, les estamos pidiendo a familiar de donar ropa y zapatos con poco uso, juguetes, y/o libros que ya no necesiten para el Remate que tendremos.
