Halloween Costume Guidelines and Agreement
Dear families,
This year we would like to give the students of LdV the opportunity to
dress up for Halloween. In order to maintain a positive and respectful
environment, we ask that students strictly comply with our dress code and
costume guidelines. If the following guidelines are not met, the child’s
parents will be notified immediately and the child will have to change
clothes.
LdV regular dress code:
• Students are not permitted to wear shirts with offensive language or
pictures on them, nor those that promote violence and/or alcohol or
other drugs. Wearing of inappropriate or offensive clothing will result
in students being required to change.
• Clothes shall be sufficient to conceal undergarments at all times.
See-through fabrics, halter tops, off the shoulder or low cut tops,
bare midriffs and skirts or shorts shorter than mid-thigh are not
acceptable.
• Hats, caps, and other head coverings shall not be worn indoors.
• Appropriate shoes must be for play on the blacktop or field. For
safety reasons, shoes must have closed toes and heel straps. No
heels or platforms higher than two-inches should be worn at school.
Halloween costume guidelines:
• Costumes will not depict anything scary or violent.
• Costumes will not include masks or props of any kind.
In order for your child to wear his or her costume, please let us know what
the costume will be and sign, acknowledging that it meets all of the
above guidelines.

Estimadas Familias,
Este año nos gustaría dar a los estudiantes de LdV la oportunidad
de disfrazarse para Halloween. Con el fin de mantener un ambiente
positivo y respetuoso, le pedimos que los estudiantes cumplan
estrictamente con nuestro código de vestimenta y difraces de vestuario.
Si no se cumplen las siguientes pautas, los padres del niño(a) serán
notificados inmediatamente y el niño(a) tendrá que cambiarse de ropa.
LdV código de vestimenta normal:
• No se les permitara a los estudiantes usar camisas con lenguaje
ofensivo o imágenes sobre ellos, ni los que promueven la violencia y
/ o el alcohol u otras drogas. El uso de ropa inadecuada u ofensiva
dará lugar a los estudiantesel requerimiento de cambio de ropa.
• La ropa debe cubrir la ropa interior en todo momento. Ver a través
de telas, camisetas sin mangas, del hombro o escotes bajos,
diafragmas descubiertos y faldas o pantalones cortos de menos de
la mitad del muslo no son aceptables.
• Sombreros, gorras y otras coberturas para la cabeza no deben ser
usados en interiores.
• Zapatos apropiados debe ser usados para jugar en el asfalto o en
el campo. Por razones de seguridad, los zapatos deben tener los
dedos cerrados y correas de talón. No hay tacones o plataformas
superiores y dos pulgadas se deben usar en la escuela.
• Direcciones para disfraces de Halloween:
• Disfraces no representar nada de miedo o violento.
• Los disfraces no incluyen máscaras u objetos de cualquier tipo.
Para que su hijo use su traje, por favor, háganos saber lo que el traje será
