Cognates * Cognados
Los cognados son dos palabras que tienen un origen común. Con mayor
frecuencia los cognados son palabras en dos idiomas. Muchas palabras en
español y en inglés tienen raíces latinas o griegas y el mismo significado.
Como las palabras en inglés y en español con frecuencia comparten la misma
raíz latina, muchas tienen una ortografía similar y el mismo significado. Este
conocimiento se puede transferir fácilmente en la adquisición del segundo
