When school is out,
the Kids' Lunch Club is in
Free, nutritious meals three days a week all summer
Free lunches for children will be served from 11 to 12:30 every Monday, Wednes-­‐
day and Friday, June 1 through August 21, in the Activity Building at the First United Methodist Church. The Kids' Lunch Club welcomes any child to our table, with no qualification beyond a desire for lunch. One-­‐time registration asks only name, contact information, and any food allergies. We'll even pick up kids who need a ride. Along with lunch come games led by older youth outside, especially basketball and kickball under the shady pavilion, and other games and activities for younger ones. Inside are tables loaded with books for all ages and interests, donated by the John-­‐
son City Library and individuals who want to keep kids reading through the summer so their literacy skills are sharp when they return to the classroom. Who's doing this? Cooks and supporters include First Baptist Church, First Christ-­‐
ian Church, Good Shepherd Catholic Church, First United Methodist Church, the Johnson City Woman's Civic Club , El Charro, Pecan Street Brewing, Ronnie's Barbecue, Subway, and generous individuals. Come for lunch...and come hungry! Cuando termina la escuela,

Comidas nutritivas, sabrosas y gratis seran servidas tres veces a la semana.
El programa para niños empieza el día 2 de Junio y termina el día 22 de Agosto. Cada Lunes, Miércoles y Viernes desde el 11:00 de la mañana hasta la 1:00 de la tarde, se servirán lonches gratis en el cuarto de servicio de la Primera Iglesia Metodista de Johnson City. Todos los niños son bienvenidos a la mesa del Club de Lonches Para Niños. Se registrán una vez, dando solo el nombre del niño; su dirección, numero de teléfono y información sobre las allergias a comidas. Tan bien, ofrecemos servicio de transportación, para los que necesiten. ¿Quienes estan ayudando con este programa? Organizaciones de Johnson City: Primer Iglesia Bautista, Iglesia Cristiana, Iglesia Católica “El Buen Pastor”, Primer Iglesia Metodista, el Club Civico de Mujeres, El Charro, Pecan Street Brewery, Ronnie’s Barbecue, Subway, y muchos individuos generosos. Vengan a comer con nosotros, y vengan con un buen apetito. Combinada con la comida nutritiva, hay actividades para todas las edades, como juegos de basketball y kickball. Tambien mesas de libros, donados por la biblioteca de Johnson City, y adultos quién puedan ayudar a los niños en leer. Así, estaran listos para el año nuevo de escuela.
