Arquitecto por la Escuela Técnica Superior de
Arquitectura de Barcelona (1993, Maestro Artesano por la Generalitat de Cataluña, Departamento de Industria y Energía). En 2000 funda
ADD+XClaramunt. Como estratega visionario
dirige el proyecto GALACTICSUITE para poner
en órbita un hotel espacial.
Diseñador de interiores por la escuela EDRA.
Técnico en sistemas interactivos Multimedia
(UOC-UPC). Ha dedicado gran parte de su
carrera al diseño industrial y la arquitectura.
Miquel de Mas es colaborador activo en EQUIP
Xavier Claramunt y del proyecto GALACTICSUITE.

Architect from Barcelona’s Higher Technical
School of Architecture (1993, Master Craftsman from the Catalan Regional Government,
Department of Industry and Energy). In 2000 he
founded ADD+XClaramunt. He led the visionary
project GALACTICSUITE that put a space hotel
in orbit.
Interior designer from the EDRA school. Technician in Multimedia Interactive Systems (UOCUPC). He has devoted a large part of his career
to industrial design and architecture. Miquel de
Mas is an active collaborator with EQUIP Xavier
Claramunt and the GALACTICSUITE project.

2XL basa su diseño en las líneas rectas, interrumpidas únicamente, por tímidos gestos, que alteran su pureza y le ayudan a cumplir su función.
Colección de formas compactas y sólidas, en
acabado blanco o negro, y compuesta de muebles con lavabo en Bathstone®, grifería integrada, armario y espejo tecnológico.
2XL bases its design on clean straight lines,
interrupted only by the understated details
which help to fulfil its function. It is a collection
of compact and solid forms, in white or black
finishes, and made up of washbasin units in
Bathstone®, with integrated faucet, cabinet and a
technological mirror.
2XL nace de la búsqueda de nuevas funciones a
través de la tecnología en piezas esenciales del
baño. La máxima expresión es el espejo 2XL
RADIO o la espectacular encimera.
2XL ensued from the search for new functions
using technology in essential bathroom pieces
and culminates in the 2XL RADIO mirror and its
spectacular vanity top.

Armarios de una puerta con gran capacidad de almacenaje gracias a estantes
regulables. Además, el sistema de apertura Touch Match Senso (Push-Open)
posibilita frontales libres de tiradores.
Cabinets with one door extensive
storage capacity thanks to adjustable shelving. Also, the opening system Touch Match Senso (Push-Open)
means handle-free doors.

Muebles fabricados en MDF lacado y proyectados en medidas generosas, disponibles en
la versión de 120cm con tres cajones o la opción de 160cm con seis cajones. La encimera
blanca mate en Bathstone® destaca por su
diseño compacto y sus grandes dimensiones.
Gracias a la poca profundidad y el escaso
desnivel dispone de una zona seca que permite dejar cómodamente el jabón, productos
cosméticos, los útiles de afeitado o simplemente el reloj y las joyas. Así, optimizando el
espacio de la encimera se genera una nueva
dimensión, un nuevo espacio.
Amply projected units in lacquered MDF,
available in the 120cm version with three
drawers or the 160cm option with six
drawers. A highlight is the matt white
vanity top in Bathstone® with its compact
design and extensive proportions. Its
shallow depth and slight inclination afford
it a dry area that enables you to leave soap,
cosmetic products, shaving tools or just
your watch or jewellery. This optimises
space on the top and creates a new
dimension; a new space.
El conjunto de grifería es una de las
piezas más distintivas de la colección.
El monomando, independiente del
caño e instalado directamente al lavabo, aporta una nueva perspectiva a
la encimera. Además, el sistema de
joystick permite regular de manera
sencilla e intuitiva tanto la temperatura,
como el caudal de agua. Con el diseño
curvado del caño se consigue que el
agua fluya de forma natural.
Its set of faucet is one of the
collection’s most distinctive pieces.
The single lever, independent from
the faucet fitting and positioned directly on the washbasin, gives the vanity top a new perspective. Also, the
joystick system enables the temperature and water flow to be controlled
simply and intuitively. The faucet’s
curved design allows water to flow
naturally.

Interiores que abren nuevas perspectivas: espacios amplios,
gracias al sistema de desagüe oculto que proporciona un aprovechamiento total de los cajones e innovadoras soluciones para
el almacenaje como los elementos divisores móviles. Los cajones,
con tres niveles de profundidad diferentes, cuentan con el sistema
de apertura Touch Match Senso (Push-Open) que permite abrir
los cajones con un ligero impulso en el frontal.
Interiors that open up new perspectives: wide spaces, as a result
of the hidden drainage system so drawers can be used to their
full capacity and innovative storage solutions such as movable
dividers. The drawers come in three different depths with the
Touch Match Senso (Push-Open) system that requires just a light
tap on the front.
Basado en un concepto contundentemente tecnológico el espejo 2XL RADIO es la pieza más singular
de la colección. 2XL RADIO es un espejo multifunción que combina radio FM estéreo, fuente de audio
auxiliar, dos altavoces estéreo, dos enchufes, iluminación interior, sistema antivaho y compartimentos
laterales, manteniendo así el concepto funcional de
la colección.
El usuario interactúa con el espejo mediante un teclado táctil y una pantalla LED, en la que, además de
la función que está siendo utilizada (radio o fuente
auxiliar de audio), se visualiza la hora. La radio FM
estéreo permite seleccionar las emisoras de forma
manual o automática permitiendo memorizar hasta
nueve emisoras. El receptor de radio está preparado para visualizar información RDS (Radio Data
System). Igualmente, con 2XL RADIO es posible reproducir audio desde una fuente externa como, por
ejemplo, un reproductor MP3.
Based on a totally technological concept the 2XL
RADIO mirror is the most unique piece in the
collection.
2XL RADIO is a multi-function mirror that
combines FM stereo radio, an extra sound
source, two stereo speakers, two plugs, inside
lighting, anti-fog system and side compartments
to maintain the collection’s functional concept.
The user interacts with the mirror with a tactile
keypad and a LED screen which, apart from the
function being used, (radio or auxiliary sound
source), also tells you the time.
The FM stereo radio allows you to select the
stations manually or automatically and can
memorise up to nine stations. The radio receiver
displays RDS (Radio Data System) information.
Also, the 2XL RADIO can reproduce sound from
an external source such as an MP3 player.
El sistema antivaho mantiene la superficie del espejo libre de humedad ante la presencia de vapor en
el baño. La iluminación, de tonalidad blanca (4.000º
K), y el sistema antivaho se encienden mediante el
interruptor externo del baño.
The anti-fog system keeps the mirror surface
humidity-free when there is steam in the
bathroom. The white tone lighting (4,000º K),
and the anti-fog system are turned on with a
switch outside the bathroom.
Además, 2XL RADIO incorpora cajones laterales de
almacenaje para depositar el reproductor MP3 o los
útiles de cuidado personal.
2XL RADIO also incorporates side storage
drawers for the MP3 player or personal care
items.

El BathStone® brillo o mate, material
exclusivo desarrollado y producido por
COSMIC, es una mezcla de Hidróxido
de aluminia (polvo de mármol) con resinas sintéticas de poliéster y acrílicas.
Bathstone® ha supuesto un importante
avance a nivel de diseño permitiendo
la creación de productos atractivos
con un tacto cálido capaz de transmitir
elegancia y sofisticación. Su superficie
sólida y no porosa, evita la aparición de
moho y bacterias; además permite la
renovación del material manteniendo
así su aspecto original.
Gloss or matt BathStone®, an exclusive material developed and produced
by COSMIC, is a blend of aluminium
hydroxide (marble dust) with synthetic
polyester and acrylic resins. Bathstone® is a revolutionary design evolution that has enabled the development
of attractive products with a warm
touch that convey elegance and sophistication. Its solid and non-porous
surface prevents the appearance of
mould and bacteria; the material can
also be renewed to maintain its original appearance.
