The products are marketed by Acero ESTRELLA, the leading company in the design, production and erection of steel structures in
the Dominican Republic. The company’s manufacturing processes are

Su división de laminados en frío, North West Industries (NWI), cuenta
con una fábrica de 5,906 m² bajo techo, equipada con maquinaria de
alta tecnología y capacidad de producir con calidad mundial los productos laminados que demanda el mercado nacional e internacional.
Sus estrictos controles de calidad están certificados bajo el sistema
de Gestión Integrado de Calidad, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente:
ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 y OHSAS 18001:2007.
La línea de producción de los materiales laminados en frío que
comercializa Acero Estrella se compone de láminas pre-pintadas
para techos bajo las marcas de Aluzinc Estrella, Teja Real y Standing Seam. Completan la oferta las láminas de Metaldeck 2AE y 3AE
para entrepisos, correas tipo C y Z, planchas translúcidas y aislante
reflectivo.
Its cold-formed steel products division, North West Industries (NWI),
has a 5,906 m² covered factory equipped with high-tech machinery
and the capacity to produce world-class quality cold formed steel
products in response to national and international market demand.
Its rigorous quality controls have been certified by the Integrated

The cold-formed steel product line marketed by Acero Estrella is
composed of pre-painted laminates for roofs with the Aluzinc Estrella,
Teja Real, and Standing Seam brands. The selection is completed with

skylight panels and reflective insulation.

positive aspects of both steel and
concrete. It reduces the project cost, is
adaptable to any type of structure and
has an attractive appearance that can
be left in sight in certain projects. It fully
adheres to concrete, helping to reduce its
volume per area. As it is reinforced steel, it
lightens the dead loads and allows separation between supports: 3.5 meters.
It is composed of G-90 material, which has a
high level of light reflectivity and reduces the
total amount of screws and connectors.
