What to do
1. Agarra una hoja de actividad De la Granja y repasa la lista de artículos de la granja.
2. Una vez que estés familiarizado con la lista, empieza a revisar los anuncios semanales de los supermercados
y busca alimentos y otros productos que se producen en la granja.
3. Recorta los productos que encontraste y pégalos en la caja del animal o cultivo del cual vienen.
4. Agrega cuantos artículos quepan en la hoja para completar tu collage De la Granja.
5. Cuando termines tu collage, habla acerca de por qué los animales y cultivos de la granja son tan importantes.
1. Take a From the Farm activity sheet and discuss the picture in each box. Talk about what things you use or
eat every day that come from each picture.
2. Once you are familiar with these pictures, begin to review the weekly grocery ads for food items and other
products that are produced on the farm.
3. Cut them out and glue them to the box for the animal/crop from which the item comes.
4. Add as many items as you can fit on the page to complete your From the Farm collage.
5. Once you have completed your collage, talk about why farm animals and crops are important.

Un granjero es alguien que es dueño u opera una granja. Muchas ciudades grandes tienen granjas que ofrecen
visitas guiadas o experiencias de cosechas por una pequeña cuota. Visita una granja cercana. Si no puedes ir a una
granja, trata de visitar el mercado de los granjeros para ver qué tipo de productos vienen de las granjas. Busca en
tu casa productos que vengan de la granja o de animales de la granja. Haz una lista de las cosas que encontraste.

A farmer is someone who owns or operates a farm. Many large cities have farms that offer tours or picking
experiences for a small fee. Visit a nearby farm. If you can’t make it to a farm, try visiting a farmer’s market
to see what types of items come from farms. Search your home for products that come from farms or farm
animals. Make a list of the things you find.
