Never place a USB-based device into the USB port of HUAWEI FWT
under any circumstances. Doing so may damage the device and
negate its warranty. The port was designed for diagnostic purposes
only; it is not intended for customer use.

2 Installation
Ensure that HUAWEI FWT is powered off and disconnected from the
power adapter.
Installing the battery
1. Press and slide the cover to remove the battery cover.
2. With the battery label facing up and the connector wires to the left,
insert the batter connection cable into the battery port.
3. Place the battery in the battery slot and slide the battery cover into
place.

The battery is intended for backup purpose only (in the event of
a power failure).
When the power adapter is connected the battery will
automatically charge. When fully charged the battery will
automatically stop charging.
Remove the battery if the device is not in use for a long time.
Installing the antenna
1. Make sure the device is turned off.
2. Align the antenna with the antenna port on the device as
illustrated below.

3. Screw the antenna into the port, ensuring that the connection is
secure.
Only use the compatible external antenna indoors.
Connecting the power adapter
1. Insert the power adapter into the DC 5V power port.
2. Plug the unit into a standard AC electrical outlet.
Backup battery power will only be used during power failure or if
the external power adapter is not in use.
Connecting telephone
HUAWEI FWT provides ports for up to two telephones. The ports use
the same telephone number.

1. Unplug your telephone from your wall’s telephone jack.
2. Plug one end of your telephone’s cord into one of the telephone
port. (The other end of the cord must remain plugged into the
phone or the telephone base unit, depending on the type of phone
you’re connecting.)
Do not plug HUAWEI FWT into your telephone wall jack.
The device and telephone cord are for indoor use only.
3 Powering on or off
Use the power button to turn HUAWEI FWT on and off.
To power the device on, press and hold the power button until
screen turns on.
To power the device off, press and hold the power button until
screen turns off.

*E911information: your device features an embedded Global
Positioning System (GPS) chip necessary for utilizing E911
emergency location services where available. During the emergency
call, the alert indicator on the terminal will blink and your location
can then be determined by the 911 operator. Always report your
location to the 911 operator when placing an emergency call.
Some designated emergency call takers, known as Public Safety
Answering Points (PSAPs) may not be equipped to receive GPS
location information from your device.

5 Using Bluetooth
HUAWEI FWT is Bluetooth-capable, allowing you to connect to other
Bluetooth-enabled phones. When using Bluetooth, stay within 10
meters (33 feet) of other Bluetooth devices. The actual distance may be
impacted by environmental factors, ensure that the phone is near
HUAWEI FWT.
To avoid the interference caused by radio signals, place the devic
device
at least 1.5 meters (4.92 feet) away from other Wi-Fi device.
Turning Bluetooth on and off
Turning Bluetooth on enables your device’s Bluetooth functions
1. Press Menu > Bluetooth > Bluetooth On/Off.
2. Press On to turn on Bluetooth and Off to disable Bluetooth.
Pairing Bluetooth devices
The Bluetooth pairing process allows you to establish trusted
connections between your HUAWEI FWT to other Bluetooth devices.
1. Press Menu > Bluetooth > Pair Device.
2. Place mobile phone close to HUAWEI FWT, and then search for
HUAWEI FWT.
3. Enter PIN code (0000) and confirm to connect on your mobile
phone. Skip this step if you do not need to enter a PIN code.

You can pair a maximum of two mobile phones with HUAWEI
FWT.
Disconnect mobile phone from any Bluetooth headsets before
you pair mobile phone with HUAWEI FWT.
If a Bluetooth connection cannot be set up between HUAWEI
FWT and mobile phone, repeat step 1-3. If the connection still
cannot be set up, they may be incompatible, in which case you
will need to pair with a different phone.
Viewing device list
Press Menu > Bluetooth > Device List to display a list of paired device
with your HUAWEI FWT.
1. Press Options > Connect/Disconnect to connect or disconnect
the paired device.
2. Press Options > Remove to remove the paired device.
If you remove a device, you will need to repeat the pairing steps
above to repair the device.
6 Making calls
Making calls with your HUAWEI FWT is as easy as making calls using
traditional wired telephone service.
1. Place a call by entering the desired telephone number.
2. When your call is complete, hang up or return the phone to the
receiver to ensure that you can receive calls.
When you are making calls with your HUAWEI FWT, HUAWEI FWT
cannot answer the calls to paired mobile phones until you hang
up.

Receiving calls
After your HUAWEI FWT is paired with a phone, it can answer calls from
either HUAWEI FWT or the paired phone.
Answering calls to HUAWEI FWT
If you are using a new telephone number with HUAWEI FWT, simply
share your new number with friends & family. When they call, answer
the phone connected to your HUAWEI FWT. If you are using your
existing number, simply answer the phone as usual when the phone
rings.
When you receive calls with your HUAWEI FWT, HUAWEI FWT
cannot answer the calls to paired mobile phones until you hang up
the house phone.

Answering calls to paired phones
After your HUAWEI FWT is paired with two phones, if an external line
number calls either phone, the called phone and HUAWEI FWT ring
simultaneously. You can answer the call through the HUAWEI FWT or
called phone.
Answering calls through HUAWEI FWT
If you answer a call made to paired phone A through HUAWEI FWT,
HUAWEI FWT cannot receive any other incoming calls. During the call,
you can follow phone A’s onscreen instruction to forward the call to
phone A. HUAWEI FWT cannot answer the calls to paired phone B until
the call is ended.
During the call, if phone A receive a new incoming call, HUAWEI
FWT will play a notification tone. Press the FLASH key on your
phone to answer the new and place the first call on hold.
After the call is forwarded from HUAWEI FWT to phone A, it
cannot be forwarded back to HUAWEI FWT.

Answering calls through a paired phone
Using paired phone A to answer a call will not affected the use of your
HUAWEI FWT and paired phone B.

Adjusting the in-call volume
You can adjust the in-call volume in standby mode or during a call. Four
volume levels are available, with level 1 being the lowest and level 4 the
highest.
Adjusting the in-call volume in standby mode
1. Pick up the handset.
If you hear the dial tone, telephone service is available.
2. Enter ##1 to adjust the in-call volume.
3. Press a key (1-4) to select the desired volume level.
4. Press the * key to save the volume level.
If you hear the confirm tone “beep”, you have successfully set the
volume level.
If you hear the dial tone again, the device has returned to the offhook state, and you can proceed to configure other settings.
If you hear the reject tone “beep, beep”, you have pressed an
incorrect key and failed to adjust the in-call volume. Wait until the
device returns to the off-hook state and you hear the dial tone
again. Then repeat steps 2-4 to adjust the in-call volume again.
Adjusting the in-call volume during a call
1. While engaged in a call, enter ##1 to adjust the in-call volume.
2. Press a key (1-4) to select the desired volume level.
3. Press the * key to save the volume level.
If you hear the confirm tone “beep”, you have successfully set the
volume level.
4. Continue with your call.

If you hear the reject tone “beep, beep”, you have pressed an
incorrect key and failed to adjust the in-call volume. Continue with
your call, and repeat step 1-4.
Call waiting
When you are on a call, Call Waiting alerts you to incoming calls:
1. When you hear a beep from the receiver on any connected phone
during a call, it means a second caller is trying to connect.
2. Press the FLASH key to answer the second call.
3. Press the FLASH key again to return to the first call.
Depending on the type of phone you are using with your HUAWEI
FWT, you may need to press a different key to answer a waiting call.
Consult your phone’s documentation for details.
Three-way call
You can talk with parties at the same time by using the three-way
calling feature on your HUAWEI FWT:
1. While in the conversation of the first call, press the FLASH key to
hold the 1st party.
2. Dial the number of the 2nd party (the # key will be recognized as part
of number if entered).
3. Press the FLASH key within 10 seconds, then your phone will
originate the 2nd party call.
4. When the 2nd party answers, press the FLASH key to initiate the
three-way call (if the 2nd party reject, your phone will return to the 1st
party automatically).
5. While in the three-way call, press the FLASH key to end the 2nd party
and return to the 1st party.

6. To end both conversations, hang up the phone.
The FLASH key will vary by telephone type.
Using Voicemail
Setting up voicemail
You should set your voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your
device is activated. Always use a password to protect against
unauthorized access. Your device automatically transfers all unanswered
calls to your voicemail, even if the device is in use or turned off.
1. Dial *86 to access the voicemail system.
2. Follow the system prompts to:
Create your password.
Record your name announcement.
Record your greeting.
Retrieving voicemail messages
1. The alert indicator (
) will blink red to indicate that you have one
or more unheard voicemail messages.
2. Press View > Listen or dial *86 to access your voicemail.
3. Follow the system prompts to listen to and manage your voicemail
messages.
Call forwarding
HUAWEI FWT allows you to forward calls to another phone number,
including your mobile phone or office number. Your home phone will
not ring until you deactivate the service. Airtime applies to forwarded
calls even if you send the call to landline telephones.

To activate call forwarding:
1. Dial *72.
2. Immediately enter the phone number where you want calls to be
forwarded (e.g. *72-212-123-4567).
3. You will hear a confirmation tone.
4. Hang up your home phone or return the phone receiver to its base.
To deactivate call forwarding:
1. Dial *73.
2. You will hear a confirmation tone.
3. Hang up your home phone or return the phone receiver to its base.
Assistive communication devices
TTY (Text Telephone) and TDD (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf)
allow individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have speech or
language disabilities to communicate by telephone.
When a user types his or her conversation on a TTY keyboard, it is
transmitted as tones through the telephone. Tones are received by the
other person’s TTY, translated into text and displayed on the screen. In
order to use the TTY network, you must have a TTY-compatible phone
and be in the TTY mode to place or receive calls. Note the most digital
wireless devices are TTY-compatible.
Setting TTY mode
To set the TTY (Text Telephone) mode, press Menu > Settings >TTY.
TTY Off: The standard voice speaking mode and the listening
mode. This is the default setting.
TTY Full: Transmit and receive the TTY characters.
TTY HCO (hearing carry over): Transmit TTY characters but
receive by listening to the receiver.

TTY VCO (voice carry over): Receive TTY characters but transmit
by speaking into the speaker.

7 FAQs
Why am I not getting a dial tone on my handset?
1. Ensure that the power adapter is properly connected and that the
power indicator is illuminated.
2. Check to make sure the signal indicator is green on.
3. Check to make sure the telephone cable is securely plugged in.

Can I create a shortcut to access my voicemail?
The availability of a shortcut feature to access voicemail messages
depends solely on the capabilities of the corded or cordless phone that
you use with HUAWEI FWT. Please refer to the user material that came
with your phone. If your home phone does not support a shortcut
feature, you may save your voicemail number into the address book on
the handset and assign that number to the #1 speed dial position on
your phone’s keypad.
Can I use my telephone answering device instead of voicemail?
Yes. Set the answering device to fewer rings in order to pick up the call
before voicemail. Alternatively, turn off your home answering machine
or increase the number of rings if you would like to use the voicemail
service. Please refer to the user material provided by the home
answering machine manufacturer for instructions.
Does 9-1-1 work on this device?
Yes, but since HUAWEI FWT is designed for an indoor environment,
please be prepared to provide your location inside the premises to
public service personnel. The GPS chipset embedded in this device will
work best if the device is located near a window or other opening.
Does this product work during a power outage?
While HUAWEI FWT has a backup battery, if the landline device requires
external power to operate, service (including the ability to make and
receive 9-1-1 calls) will not be available during a power outage.
Service will only be available during a power outage if the home
telephone connected to the device does not rely on external power to
operate (as is the case with many corded phones).
How long is the battery life of HUAWEI FWT?
Talk time is approximately a hours and standby time is approximately 36
hours. Actual values can vary with environmental conditions.

Can I adjust the volume on my telephone?
You can adjust the volume using your telephone connected to HUAWEI
FWT. Four volume levels are available, with level 1 being the softest and
level 4 the loudest. The default setting is level 3.
Why do I get recording, “Call cannot be completed as dialed”?
Check the number to ensure you’re dialing correctly, without pauses
longer than four seconds between dialed digits.
If a call comes into my mobile phone that is connecter via
Bluetooth to HUAWEI FWT, are the minutes unlimited?
Only if you have an unlimited plan on your mobile phone. Unlimited
minutes are only on calls received on HUAWEI FWT.
Will HUAWEI FWT work with my home security system?
No. HUAWEI FWT is not compatible with home security system.
Can I plug my HUAWEI FWT in to my wall phone jack?
No.

No coloque un dispositivo USB en el puerto USB del HUAWEI

2 Instalación

3 Encendido y apagado

*Información sobre E911: El teléfono cuenta con un chip
integrado de Sistema de Posicionamiento Global (GPS), que es
necesario para utilizar los servicios de localización de
emergencia E911 cuando estos se encuentran disponibles.
Durante la llamada de emergencia, el indicador de alerta del
terminal parpadea y, así, el operador del 911 puede determinar
la ubicación del usuario. Siempre se debe reportar la ubicación
al operador del 911 al realizar llamadas de emergencia. Es
posible que algunos de los centros de atención telefónica de
emergencia (PSAP) designados no cuenten con los equipos
necesarios para recibir información de localización del GPS
enviada desde el dispositivo del usuario.
5 Uso de Bluetooth
El HUAWEI FWT cuenta con la función Bluetooth y permite
conectarse con otros teléfonos que incluyan dicha función. Para
usar la función Bluetooth, manténgase a no más de 10 metros (33
pies) de distancia de otros dispositivos Bluetooth. La distancia real
puede verse afectada por factores del entorno; por lo tanto,
asegúrese de que el teléfono se encuentre cerca del HUAWEI FWT.

Para evitar interferencias causadas por las señales de radio,
coloque el dispositivo al menos a 1,5 metros (4,92 pies) de
otros dispositivos Wi-Fi.
Activación y desactivación de la función
Bluetooth
Active la función Bluetooth para habilitarla.
1. Presione Menú > Bluetooth > Activación/Desactivación de

Emparejamiento de dispositivos Bluetooth
El proceso de emparejamiento por Bluetooth permite establecer

1. Presione Menú > Bluetooth > Emparejar dispositivo.
2. Coloque el teléfono celular cerca del HUAWEI FWT y busque a
este último.
3. Ingrese el código PIN (0000) y confirme que desea conectarse
en el teléfono celular. Omita este paso si no es necesario que
ingrese un código PIN.

Se pueden emparejar hasta dos teléfonos celulares con el
HUAWEI FWT.
Desconecte los auriculares Bluetooth del teléfono celular
antes de emparejar este con el HUAWEI FWT.
Si no se puede establecer una conexión Bluetooth entre el
HUAWEI FWT y el teléfono celular, repita los pasos 1-3. Si
repitiendo los pasos tampoco se resuelve el problema, es
posible que los dispositivos no sean compatibles, en cuyo
caso se deberá emparejar el HUAWEI FWT con otro
teléfono..
Visualización de la lista de dispositivos
Presione Menú > Bluetooth > Dispositivo pareado para ver la
lista de dispositivos emparejados con el HUAWEI FWT.
1. Presione Opción > Conectar / Desconectar para conectar o
desconectar el dispositivo emparejado.
2. Presione Opción > Retire para eliminar el dispositivo
emparejado.
Si elimina un dispositivo, deberá repetir los pasos para
emparejar que aparecen más arriba para volver a emparejar el
dispositivo.
6 Cómo hacer llamadas
Llamar con el HUAWEI FWT es tan sencillo como hacerlo con los
servicios telefónicos con cable tradicionales.
1. Para llamar, marque el número de teléfono que desee.
2. Cuando haya finalizado la llamada, cuelgue el teléfono para
asegurarse de recibir las llamadas.

Cuando se utiliza el HUAWEI FWT para llamar, este no puede
responder llamadas de teléfonos celulares emparejados hasta
que finaliza la llamada.

Cómo recibir llamadas
Una vez emparejado el HUAWEI FWT con un teléfono, se pueden
responder llamadas desde el HUAWEI FWT o el teléfono
emparejado.
Cómo responder llamadas al HUAWEI FWT
Si utiliza un nuevo número de teléfono con el HUAWEI FWT,
comparta dicho número con amigos y familiares. Cuando llamen,
conteste con el teléfono conectado al HUAWEI FWT. Si usa el
número existente, cuando el teléfono suene, contéstelo como lo
hace habitualmente.
Cuando recibe llamadas con el HUAWEI FWT, este no puede
responder llamadas de teléfonos celulares emparejados hasta
que se cuelga el teléfono del hogar.

Cómo responder llamadas a teléfonos emparejados
Una vez que el HUAWEI FWT esté emparejado con dos teléfonos,
si el número de una línea externa llama a cualquiera de los
teléfonos, el teléfono que recibe la llamada y el HUAWEI FWT
sonarán simultáneamente. Puede responder la llamada con el
HUAWEI FWT o el teléfono que recibió la llamada.
Cómo responder llamadas con el HUAWEI FWT
Si responde una llamada hecha al teléfono emparejado A con el
HUAWEI FWT, este no puede recibir otras llamadas entrantes.
Durante la llamada, siga las instrucciones que aparecen en la
pantalla del teléfono A para desviar la llamada a dicho teléfono. El
HUAWEI FWT no puede responder las llamadas hechas al teléfono
emparejado B hasta que finaliza la llamada.
Durante una llamada, si el teléfono A recibe una nueva
llamada, el HUAWEI FWT reproducirá un tono de notificación.
Presione la tecla FLASH del teléfono para responder la
llamada nueva y colocar la primera llamada en espera.
Una vez que la llamada se desvía del HUAWEI FWT al
teléfono A, no puede volver a desviarse al HUAWEI FWT.

Cómo responder llamadas a través de un teléfono emparejado
El uso del teléfono emparejado A para responder una llamada no
afectará el uso del HUAWEI FWT ni del teléfono emparejado B.

Cómo ajustar el volumen de llamadas entrantes
Se puede ajustar el volumen de llamadas entrantes en modo de
espera o durante llamadas en curso. Hay cuatro niveles de volumen.
El nivel 1 es el más bajo y el nivel 4 es el más alto.
Cómo ajustar el volumen de llamadas entrantes en modo de
espera
1. Levante el microteléfono.
Si se oye el tono de invitación a marcar, significa que el servicio
telefónico se encuentra disponible.
2. Ingrese ##1 para ajustar el volumen de llamadas entrantes.
3. Presione una de las teclas (1-4) para seleccionar el nivel de
volumen deseado.
4. Presione la tecla * para guardar el nivel de volumen.
Si oye un pitido como tono de confirmación, significa que el
nivel de volumen se configuró correctamente.
Si oye el tono de invitación a marcar nuevamente, significa que
el dispositivo ha vuelto al estado descolgado y usted puede
continuar configurando el equipo.
Si oye dos pitidos como tono de rechazo, significa que presionó
la tecla incorrecta y no se pudo ajustar el volumen. Espere a
que el dispositivo vuelva al estado descolgado y oiga el tono de
invitación a marcar nuevamente. Luego, repita los pasos 2-4
para ajustar el volumen de llamadas entrantes.

Cómo ajustar el volumen de llamadas entrantes durante
llamadas
1. Durante una llamada en curso, marque ##1 para ajustar el
volumen de llamadas entrantes.
2. Presione una de las teclas (1-4) para seleccionar el nivel de
volumen deseado.
3. Presione la tecla * para guardar el nivel de volumen.
Si oye un pitido como tono de confirmación, significa que el

Si oye dos pitidos como tono de rechazo, significa que presionó
la tecla incorrecta y no se pudo ajustar el volumen. Continúe
con la llamada y repita los pasos 1-4.
Llamada en espera
Durante las llamadas, la función de Llamada en espera advierte
sobre llamadas entrantes:
1. Cuando oye un pitido del receptor o de cualquier teléfono
conectado durante una llamada, significa que hay una segunda
persona tratando de conectarse.
2. Presione la tecla FLASH para responder la segunda llamada.
3. Presione la tecla FLASH nuevamente para volver a la primera
llamada.
Según el tipo de teléfono que se use con el HUAWEI FWT, se
deberá presionar una tecla diferente para responder una
llamada en espera. Consulte la información del teléfono para
obtener más detalles.

Llamada tripartita
Puede hablar con varias personas al mismo tiempo a través de la
función de llamada tripartita del HUAWEI FWT:
1. Cuando la primera llamada está en curso, presione la tecla
FLASH para colocar la llamada del primer usuario en espera.
2. Marque el número del segundo usuario (la tecla # se considerará
parte del número de ser ingresada).
3. Presione la tecla FLASH dentro de los 10 segundos; el teléfono
generará la llamada del segundo usuario.
4. Cuando el segundo usuario responda, presione la tecla FLASH
para comenzar la llamada tripartita (si el segundo usuario
rechaza la llamada, el teléfono volverá al primer usuario
automáticamente).
5. Durante las llamadas tripartitas, presione la tecla FLASH para
desconectar al segundo usuario y volver al primer usuario.
La tecla FLASH varía según el tipo de teléfono.
6. Para finalizar ambas conversaciones, cuelgue el teléfono.
Uso del buzón de voz
Configuración del buzón de voz
Debe configurar el buzón de voz y el saludo personal no bien se
activa el dispositivo. Se recomienda utilizar siempre una contraseña
para proteger el dispositivo de usos no autorizados. El equipo
automáticamente transfiere todas las llamadas no respondidas al
buzón de voz, sin importar si el teléfono está en uso o apagado.
1. Marque *86 para acceder al sistema de buzón de voz.
2. Siga las instrucciones del sistema para:

Crear una contraseña.
Grabar el anuncio con su nombre.
Grabar un saludo.
Cómo escuchar correos de voz
1. El indicador de alerta (
) parpadeará en rojo para indicar que
hay un correo de voz no escuchado o más.
2. Presione Ver > Escuchar o marque *86 para acceder al buzón
de voz.
3. Siga las instrucciones del sistema para escuchar los correos de
voz y gestionarlos.
Desvío de llamadas
El HUAWEI FWT permite desviar las llamadas a otro número de
teléfono, como el del teléfono celular o el laboral. El teléfono
residencial no sonará hasta que se desactive el servicio. El tiempo
de aire se aplica a las llamadas desviadas incluso si se envía la
llamada a teléfonos fijos.
Cómo activar el desvío de llamadas:
1. . Marque * 7 2.
2. Marque inmediatamente el número de teléfono al que desea
que se desvíen las llamadas (por ejemplo, *72-212-123-4567).
3. Se escuchará un tono de confirmación.

Dispositivos de comunicación con ayuda
El Teléfono de Texto (TTY) y el Dispositivo de Telecomunicaciones
para Sordos (TDD) permiten que los individuos que son sordos o
que tienen problemas auditivos, del habla o del lenguaje se
comuniquen por teléfono.
Cuando un usuario escribe una conversación con un teclado TTY,
esta se transmite a través del teléfono en forma de tonos. El TTY
del otro usuario recibe los tonos traducidos a texto en la pantalla.
Para usar la red TTY, se debe contar con un teléfono compatible
con dicho sistema y utilizar el modo TTY para hacer o recibir
llamadas. La mayoría de los dispositivos inalámbricos digitales son
compatibles con el sistema TTY.
Configuración del modo TTY
Para configurar el modo TTY (Teléfono a texto), presione Menu >
Settings >TTY.
TTY apagado: Modo de transmisión de voz y modo de escucha
estándares. Esta es la configuración predeterminada.
TTY completo: Se reciben y transmiten caracteres TTY.
TTY HCO (de transmisión auditiva): Se transmiten los
caracteres TTY, pero se reciben a través del auricular.
TTY VCO (de transmisión a voz): Se reciben caracteres TTY,
pero se transmiten cuando se habla en el micrófono.

¿Por qué no se oye el tono de invitación a marcar en mi
microteléfono?
1. Asegúrese de que el adaptador de alimentación esté
debidamente conectado y de que el indicador de encendido esté
iluminado.
2. Verifique si la luz del indicador de señal está encendida y es
verde.

¿Se puede crear un acceso directo al buzón de voz?
La disponibilidad de la función de acceso directo a los correos de
voz depende exclusivamente de las capacidades del teléfono con
cable o inalámbrico que se usa con el HUAWEI FWT. Consulte el
material para el usuario provisto con el teléfono. Si el teléfono
residencial no soporta la función de acceso directo, guarde el
número de buzón de voz en la agenda del microteléfono y asígnele
dicho número a la tecla de marcación rápida #1 del teléfono.
¿Se puede usar la contestadora del teléfono en lugar del buzón
de voz?
Sí. Configure la contestadora de tal modo que se active con menos
tonos y, de este modo, que levante las llamadas antes que el buzón
de voz. O bien, apague la contestadora automática residencial o
aumente la cantidad de tonos si desea utilizar el servicio de buzón
de voz. Para obtener instrucciones, consulte el material para el
usuario provisto por el fabricante de la contestadora automática
residencial.
¿Se puede utilizar la función 9-1-1 en este teléfono?
Sí, pero dado que el dispositivo está diseñado para interiores,
deberá proporcionar su ubicación dentro del establecimiento al
personal de servicios públicos. El chipset del GPS integrado en
este dispositivo funcionará mejor si el dispositivo se coloca cerca de
una ventana u otra abertura.
¿Este producto funciona durante los cortes de energía?
Cuando el HUAWEI FWT cuenta con una batería de respaldo, si el
dispositivo fijo requiere de energía externa para funcionar, el
servicio (entre ellos, la capacidad para hacer llamadas al 911 y

recibir dicho tipo de llamadas) no estará disponible durante los
cortes de energía.
El servicio solo estará disponible durante dichos cortes si el
teléfono residencial conectado al dispositivo no necesita de energía
externa para funcionar (como es el caso de la mayoría de los
teléfonos con cable).
¿Cuál es la autonomía de la batería del HUAWEI FWT?
El tiempo de conversación es de unas 2 horas y el de espera, de
unas 36 horas. Los valores reales pueden variar según las
condiciones del entorno.
¿Cómo se ajusta el volumen del teléfono?
Se puede ajustar el volumen a través del teléfono conectado al
HUAWEI FWT. Hay cuatro niveles de volumen. El nivel 1 es el más
bajo y el nivel 4 es el más alto. El nivel predeterminado es el 3.
¿Qué hago frente al mensaje grabado, “No se puede llamar al
número marcado”?
Verifique el número para asegurarse de haber marcado
correctamente; no haga pausas mayores a cuatro segundos al
marcar los distintos dígitos.
Si mi teléfono celular recibe una llamada y está conectado al
HUAWEI FWT vía Bluetooth, ¿los minutos son ilimitados?
Solo si el teléfono celular tiene un plan ilimitado. Los minutos
ilimitados se aplican solo a las llamadas recibidas a través del
HUAWEI FWT.
¿El HUAWEI FWT funciona con el sistema de seguridad de mi
hogar?
No. El HUAWEI FWT no es compatible con dicho sistema.
