Adults are still NEEDED for these classrooms to have a December 17th winter party Read Your Heart Out is our theme for our at-home reading program which encourages your child to do the following… 1. Read for 20 minutes a night for four nights per week. 2. Choose Good Fit books to read independently. 3. Par cipate in BOOK-IT Reading Program which gives them a chance to earn a free Pizza Hut pizza. 4. Complete and turn in a reading log weekly with parent signature. 5. Meet his or her Lexia minutes. Our goal of this reading program is that students will only learn to love to read by prac cing reading. We hope that you will help encourage a love of reading at home by being a reader yourself. Each month at our All-School Assemblies we highlight the grade level who reads the most minutes. Our first graders won last month – way to go First Grade Team! I hope to see you at our 4th grade Winter Musical on the evening of December 10th from 7-8:00. Saludos Cordiales, Sean G.
