Water Routes to the Port of Palacios!
COMING FROM:
Matagorda Bay Entrance; after approximately ½ Nautical Mile, turn East bound in the alternate
intracoastal waterway channel at buoys 13A and 14A, steering an approximate course of 027 degrees
magnetic. Continue East bound in the channel for approximately ¾ nautical mile then turn North into
Palacios Channel just past buoy #5 on an approximate course of 338 degrees magnetic. Follow the
Palacios Channel all the way into the Port of Palacios. WELCOME!!
Port O’Connor; East bound in the Intracoastal Waterway, turn into the alternate Intracoastal Waterway
channel at buoy #121 on an approximate course of 027 degrees magnetic. Continue East bound in the
channel for approximately 1 nautical mile then turn North into Palacios Channel just past buoy #5 on an
approximate course of 338 degrees magnetic. Follow the Palacios Channel all the way into the Port of
Palacios. WELCOME!!
West bound, Intracoastal Waterway; after Oyster Lake and past Palacios Point, turn into the
intracoastal waterway alternate channel at buoy #29 on an approximate course of 234 degrees magnetic.
Follow the channel for approximately 1 nautical mile then turn North into Palacios Channel just before
buoy #5 on an approximate course of 338 degrees magnetic. Follow the Palacios Channel all the way into
the Port of Palacios. WELCOME!!
