Families requesting Open Enrollment need to know:
! *Because of No Child Left Behind, children from any school that is in “needs improvement” will be given priority.
! Second priority is given to children who were previously “open enrolled” in the requested school and to children with
child care needs.
! Children will be returned to their neighborhood school, at any time during the school year, if attendance or
discipline problems occur. If discipline or attendance problems occur after the interim of the marking period, the student
will remain until the conclusion of the marking period.
! Open Enrollment requests must be submitted for each child in the family.
! Transportation to and from an Open Enrollment school is the responsibility of the family.
! All Open Enrollment requests must be returned to your school by May 8th.
! Requests will be approved on a space available basis by August 7, 2015.

Familias solicitando Matrícula Abierta necesitan saber que:
! *Debido al programa “Ningún Niño Dejado Atrás” se le dará prioridad a estudiantes en cualquier escuela que “necesite
mejoramiento.”
! Se le dará segunda prioridad a niños que previamente estaban matriculados en esa misma escuela y a los que
tengan necesidad de cuido de niños.
! Si ocurren problemas de asistencia o disciplina en cualquier momento durante el año escolar, estos niños serán
devueltos a la escuela de su vecindario. Si ocurren problemas de disciplina o asistencia después del ínterin del periodo
de notas, el estudiante permanecerá hasta el fin del periodo de notas.
! Se debe llenar una solicitud para Matrícula Abierta para cada niño en la familia.
! La familia es responsable por la transportación del niño hacia y desde la escuela de Matrícula Abierta.
! Todas las solicitudes deben ser recibidas en la escuela antes del 8 de mayo.
! Las solicitudes serán aprobadas de acuerdo a espacio disponible antes del 7 de agosto del 2015.
! Si usted tiene preguntas, favor de comunicarse con el principal de la escuela.
