Student Pledge
I know learning is important for me, and I will try my hardest to do my best in school. Therefore:
…I pledge to come to school on time every day unless I am ill.
…I pledge to enter my school and my classroom ready to perform the tasks that my teacher asks of me.
…I pledge not to disturb my classmates and respect the rights of others.
…I pledge to complete all homework by making sure I understand the assignments before I leave school.
…I pledge to ask for help, when needed.
…I pledge to have someone at home look at my work when I have finished.
… I pledge to read at least 30 minutes every day.
…I pledge to give my parents or guardians all notices and information given to me by the school.
Parent Pledge
I realize that my child’s school years are very important. I also understand that my participation in my child’s education
will help his/her achievement and attitude. Therefore:
…I pledge to send my child to school daily on time, and well-rested, unless he/she is ill.
…I pledge to establish a home learning environment that sets routines for study time, bedtime, and other daily activities.
…I pledge to communicate to my child that I expect him/her to be self-disciplined and to give others the same respect
he/she expects from them
…I pledge to provide a quiet place and time for my child to study.
…I pledge to ask my child if he/she has homework each day and to review it with him/her when it is complete.
…I pledge to ask my child what he/she has read or plans to read each day.
…I pledge to visit my child’s school conference with his/her teacher, to get involved as much as possible, and to learn
what the school is trying to do for my child.
…I pledge to praise and encourage my child when I work with him/her.
School Pledge
We know the importance of the school experience for students and our role as educators to help each student achieve;
therefore, we pledge the following:
…to do all that we can to see students have a positive school experience each day.
…to provide a positive learning environment for students
…to offer learning and extension activities to improve student achievement
…to teach grade level standards and concepts and to assign homework for additional practice
…to make ourselves available for scheduled conferences
…to provide opportunities for parents to attend school activities and parent trainings
…to keep parents informed of school/district/community activities to help their child.

…Prometo llegar a clase a tiempo todos días salvo que estuviese enfermo.
…Prometo entrar a la escuela y a clase preparado para cumplir con las tareas asignadas por el maestro.
…Prometo no interrumpir a mis compañeros y respetar los derechos de los demás.
…Prometo completar toda mi tarea por medio de asegurar que he entendido el material antes de salir de clase.
…Prometo pedir ayuda cuando sea necesario.
…Prometo tener a alguien en casa que revise mi tarea en cuanto la haya terminado.
… Prometo leer por lo menos 30 minutos cada día.
…Prometo darle a mis padres o tutores toda notificación enviada por la escuela.
Promesa del padre
Estoy consciente de que los años escolares de mi hijo(a) son importantes. También entiendo que mi participación en la
educación de mi hijo(a) le ayudará con sus logros y su actitud. Por lo tanto:
…Prometo mandar a mi hijo a la escuela diariamente, a tiempo y bien descansado salvo que estuviese enfermo.
…Prometo establecer un entorno de aprendizaje en casa que establece rutinas de hora de estudio, hora de irse a la cama
y otras actividades diarias.
…Prometo comunicarle a mi hijo que espero que sea auto-disciplinado y que respete a los demás como él/ella espera ser
respetado.
…Prometo proveer un lugar silencioso y tiempo para que mi hijo(a) pueda estudiar.
…Prometo preguntarle a mi hijo(a) si tiene tarea cada día y repasarla con él/ella en cuanto lo haya terminado.
…Prometo preguntarle a mi hijo(a) sobre lo que ha leído o lo que planea leer cada día.
…Prometo reunirme con el maestro de mi hijo(a), involucrarme lo más que pueda e informarme sobre lo qué la escuela
está procurando hacer por mi hijo(a).
…Prometo alabar y animar a mi hijo(a) cuando trabaje con él/ella.
Promesa de la escuela
Estamos conscientes de lo importante que es la experiencia académica para los alumnos y de nuestro papel como
docentes de ayudarle a cada alumno a cumplir sus logros; por lo tanto, prometemos lo siguiente:
…Hacer lo que se puede para asegurar que los alumnos tengan una experiencia académica positiva todos los días.
…Ofrecer actividades de aprendizaje y de trabajo extra con el propósito de mejorar los logros del alumno.
…Enseñar los estándares del nivel de grado y asignar tarea para la práctica adicional.
…Estar disponibles para las conferencias programadas.
…Proporcionarles oportunidades a los padres para que asistan a las actividades escolares y capacitaciones para padres.
…Mantener a los padres informados sobre las actividades de la escuela/del distrito/de la comunidad que puedan
ayudarle a su hijo(a).
