bill your insurance plan if you have one.

Who will I see? You will be seen by a professional and caring team of a Family Nurse
Practitioner and Certified Medical Assistant. We also have school nurses that can give
immunizations at this clinic.

Shannon Micheel, Family Nurse Practitioner, joined Community Health Centers of
Lane County in September 2004. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and received
her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eckerd College in Florida. Micheel went on to
receive her Masters in social work and in 2004 completed her Master of Science in
Nursing at John Hopkins University.
Shannon Micheel, Enfermera Familiar Profesional, se integró a Community Health
Centers of Lane County en septiembre del 2004. Ella creció en Memphis, Tennessee y
recibió su licenciatura en psicología de Eckerd College en Florida. Micheel continuó sus

Fluent in both English and Spanish, she worked for six years in clinics throughout Latin
America, including two years with the Peace Corps in Santo Domingo. Micheel is
passionate about helping patients improve in all areas of their lives – she takes the
emotional and physical condition of patients into consideration when treating CHCLC
patients.
