La Llave de la Abundancia
Empezamos este nuevo año 2011, con nuevos sueños, metas, retos, desafíos por alcanzar, y nos preguntamos:
¿Cómo avanzaremos exitosamente en cada una de ellas? La clave está en descubrir la llave precisa que abre
las puertas de la abundancia, aquella abundancia que vienen de parte de Dios para tu vida.
Es bueno recordar que la palabra “abundancia” siempre está presente en el lenguaje de Dios y es nuestra
herencia. El Señor Jesús dijo en Jn. 10:10b, que: "El vino para darnos vida y vida en abundancia" y eso sucede
cuando una persona acepta a Jesús como su Señor y Salvador personal. En la Biblia descubrimos la llave para
alcanzar verdadera abundancia en todo lo que hagamos, abundancia para nosotros y para nuestras familias.
La Samaritana recibió vida abundante y la cambió por su dolor. (Jn. 4:7-15) En este pasaje notamos como la
condición de la mujer de Samaria, siendo terriblemente triste y dolorosa, fue cambiada totalmente ante la
presencia y la ministración del Señor Jesucristo. Ella no tenía vida y menos vida en abundancia, pues había
fracasado muchas veces y estaba completamente desilusionada, tanto así, que después de su quinto
matrimonio, ya no quiso casarse.
La mujer de Samaria representa la condición de dolor en que vive el mundo, sobre todo aquellos que han
fracasado y que por causa de este fracaso han terminado enredados en una cadena y en un círculo de fracasos
permanentes. Cuando Cristo vino, esta mujer, recibió vida y vida en abundancia. Tan grande fue su dicha que
ella se convirtió en un abrir y cerrar de ojos en una predicadora eficaz por su testimonio. Ella trajo el mensaje
de Cristo al pueblo de Samaria con tanto éxito que Samaria acepto a Cristo Jesús como su Señor.
Zaqueo recibió vida abundante y la cambió por sus riquezas. (Lc. 19:1-10) En esta historia, vemos como
Zaqueo, siendo un hombre muy rico, al momento que se entera que el Señor Jesús pasaba por su pueblo,
inmediatamente lo fue a buscar. Zaqueo, aun siendo muy rico financieramente, no tenía la abundancia que
Jesús estaba predicando y ofreciendo a la gente. Estando en el hogar de Zaqueo, el Señor Jesús dijo, “Hoy ha
venido la salvación a esta casa”, y Zaqueo recibió esa vida preciosa que solo Cristo puede dar.
Ahí mismo dedicó Zaqueo la mitad de sus bienes a ayudar a los pobres y se comprometió a devolver cuatro
veces más a quienes les había quitado con sus negocios. El dinero y las riquezas no producen vida abundante,
pero las riquezas con Cristo, te dan la vida en abundancia que necesitas (Mt 6:33).
Cornelio recibió vida abundante y la cambió por sus títulos. (Hch. 10: 24-33) Finalmente veamos la historia de
Cornelio, el centurión Romano. En aquel tiempo, tenía la más alta distinción a la que aspiraba un hombre;
socialmente hablando, sin embargo era un hombre con hambre de vida, pero de vida en abundancia. Dios
conocía la necesidad de Cornelio y le manifestó la necesidad de llamar a Pedro, quien le presentó el amor y
poder de Cristo y la abundancia que venia de esta relación. Como vemos en esta última historia, no existe
ningún título, ninguna otra cosa en esta tierra, que nos puede dar vida abundante, solo Jesús.
Es posible empezar este 2011 con un nuevo enfoque y con la llave que nos dará abundancia de vida, eso es la
presencia y el Señorío de Jesucristo en nuestros corazones. Si haces de Jesucristo tu Señor, tu dueño, entonces
podrás disfrutar el éxito en tu vida porque tendrás la vida abundante que solo El puede ofrecer.

The Key to Abundance
We’ve started this New Year 2011, with new dreams and goals we desire to achieve and we ask ourselves, how
can we move forward successfully and reach each one of them? The answer lies is in discovering which key
opens the gates of over abundant blessings from God.
It’s good to remember that the word “abundance” is always be present in the language of God and is our
inheritance. The Lord Jesus said in John 10:10b that he came to gave us life and have it to the fullest. This
happens whenever someone accepts Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior. In the Bible we discover the key
we need to have that true abundance in everything we do, abundance for us and our families.
The Samaritan woman exchanged her pain in order to receive abundant life (Jn. 4:7-15). In this passage we
see how this woman’s condition, being terribly sad and painful, was changed completely before the presence
and ministration of the Lord Jesus Christ. She had no life and even less, abundant life from God because she
had failed so many times and was completely disillusioned that after her fifth marriage that she didn’t want to
marry her last partner.
The woman in Samaria represents the condition of pain n which the world lives in, especially those who have
failed and that because of that failure, they’ve ended up all tangled in a chain of permanent failures. When
Christ came, this woman, received life and more than that, abundant life. Her joy was so great that she
instantly became an efficient preacher by her testimony. She brought the message of Christ to the people in
Samaria with so much success that they accepted Jesus as their Savior.
Zacchaeus exchanged his riches in order to receive abundant life (Luke 19:1-10). In this story we see how
Zacchaeus, being such a rich man, at the moment he found out that the Lord Jesus would come to his
hometown, he immediately went out to look for him. Even though Zacchaeus was very wealthy, he didn’t
have the abundant life Jesus was preaching and offering to people. While at Zacchaeus’ house, the Lord Jesus
said, “Today, salvation has come to this house”, and Zacchaeus received that precious life that only Jesus can
give.
At that moment, Zacchaeus decided to give away half of his possessions to the poor and he committed to pay
back four times more to those he’d taken money from. Money and riches don’t produce abundant life but the
riches found in Christ, give you that abundant life you’re longing for (Mt. 6:33).
Cornelius exchanged his titles in order to receive abundant life (Acts 10: 24-33). Finally let’s look at
Cornelius’s story. He was a Roman official who had one of the highest positions and prestige any man could
aspire to have. Nonetheless, he was a man who hungered for life but the abundant life Jesus could give. God
knew Cornelius’s deepest needs and revealed to him what he needed to do in order to receive the love and
power of Christ. Cornelius obeyed God and invited Peter to come into his house; there he found what his
heart needed. As we see in this last story, there are neither titles nor any positions that can give us abundant
life; only our Lord Jesus.
It’s possible to start this 2011 with a new focus and with the key that will give us abundant life; that is the
presence and lordship of Jesus Christ in our hearts. If you make Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the one who
owns your life; then, you will enjoy success in life and that abundant life only He can offer.
