What’s the strangest breakfast you’ve eaten?
One time in Scotland, we ate kippers, a kind of fish, for breakfast. It sounds strange but they were
delicious!
What was the best lunch you’ve ever eaten?
My husband’s Spanish and he can cook really well. Once he made me a paella. It tasted great. The rice
was delicious and he looked cool behind the stove!
What’s your favourite food?
I love clam chowder. It’s a kind of soup from the USA. There are two types: New England is white and
Manhattan is red. I like both – when there’s clam chowder on the table, I never complain!
What food do you not like?
In general, I like fruit, but there’s a tropical fruit called durian. It smells disgusting. I can’t stand it!
What do you like to cook at home?
I like to make lemon meringue pie with my two sons. It feels great when we cook it together. It’s their
favourite dessert.
What’s your favourite drink?
Lapsang souchong, a type of tea from China. It smells like smoke. I drink it in the evening.
