The students were thankful for the opportunity to visit their family and friends during this summer break. Willie Alvarenga I am sure that each of them are happy to return to school and continue growing in the knowledge of God’s Holy Word! The workload at Brown Trail is no easy task. Each of the students have to work diligently during each quarter they study. The spiritual preparation they are going through involves hard work. During this quarter, each of the students will prepare several sermon outlines, memorize one complete letter of the New Testament (2 Thessalonians), read several books, read twice several books of the Bible, prepare several research papers, and more. All of these assignments have the purpose of equipping the students to be diligent students and proclaimers of God’s Word. We thank each of you for keeping our students in your prayers. There is not a single day that passes by in our chapel services that the students do not pray for you. They have you in their hearts and prayers each day. They are thankful to their supporters for the great blessing of being able to study on a full time basis. They are willing to go through a lot of sacrifices just to receive the knowledge that will equip them to serve the Lord in His kingdom. We are proud of our students and the hard work they put into their studies. Each time I hear them preach in chapel I can see a great improvement in their lives. They are indeed working hard to be “Men of the Book.” We pray God’s richest blessings upon each of them. We are confident that the church will be in good hands through their faithful service in the kingdom. Brethren, if you are not supporting the school of preaching, we beg you to please consider doing that. A school of this magnitude cannot go on unless we have faithful congregations sending support so students can be here studying God’s Word. We are confident that you can support a student with any amount possible. $5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 can make a difference in the lives of these students. $20 can provide several meals for the week (e.g. milk, bread, eggs, etc.) Please consider supporting with a one-time donation or a monthly one. Your support will be greatly appreciated and will not go in vain. Let us remember that the Lord is not unjust to forget the good work we do for Him and for the saints (Hebrews 6:10). Please give us an opportunity to do a school presentation at your congregation. We are confident that the church where you meet will be encouraged to learn about the good work that is taking place at Brown Trail School of Preaching. We still have several students right now who do not have their full support yet. These students are making a great sacrifice and stand in need of our help. We also have at least 5 new students who want to begin their studies in January of 2014. Please help us bring them onboard so they can receive quality of training that will help them to be effective preachers of the gospel of Christ. Please give us a call and we will be more than happy to tell you about their plans. We will also be happy to visit the congregation with any of these students so you can get to meet them. We hope and pray that you will prayerfully consider this noble petition of supporting a gospel preacher who will reach out to a lost and dying world not only here in the states, but also in other parts of the world.
