Call your Federal Legislator and say: “Hi, my name is ____ and I’m calling from the city of _________. I’m calling to urge you to PUT AN END to the terrible ICE workplace and community raids until the Democratic Congress pass a new, fair, and just immigration law. I am in strong opposition to raids because they tear families apart, leave children orphaned, and terrorize the community. These raids are resulting in distrust between the community and local authorities, trauma among the community – especially children, and they are undermining Congressional efforts to pass a new law that will ensure family unity. I believe all undocumented immigrants should be given legal permanent status so they can remain with their families.” Numbers to Federal Legislators on back of this page.
