Tool Kit Contents This Tool Kit contains materials to help you encourage patrons to participate in Snapshot Day at your library. We’ve designed the materials for ease of use. They can be printed on regular printers in the library, or be sent out for printing. The news release can be altered to reflect the activities happening in your library and the photo release will allow patron photos to be used in statewide publications. We hope that these materials are helpful to you as Massachusetts joins libraries across the nation to capture a day in the life of libraries. Un día en la vida de las bibliotecas de Massachusetts El 13 de abril, 2011 Join us and be counted! On Wednesday, April 13, Massachusetts libraries will join libraries across the nation to provide a snapshot of what happens in the day in the life of libraries. How many books are checked out? How many people receive help finding a job? Doing their taxes? Doing their homework? During Snapshot Day libraries will collect data and photos that help demonstrate the value of libraries and raise public awareness that libraries are busier than ever. Stop by and be counted! April 13, 2011 One Day in the Life of Massachusetts Libraries Sponsored by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, Massachusetts Library System, Massachusetts Library Association, the Massachusetts School Library Association and your local library.
