LiAcquire Web is used to display the status, configure the data collection parameters, and update the firmware of the LiAir V laser scanning system. LiAcquire Web is a tool-based system. During the operation, when the device indicator is normal and users do not need to adjust the acquisition mode, it is not necessary to change the parameter settings in this system before data acquisition. Software Features: Software Functions Supported Device Display Acquisition Settings System Operation LiAir V Series System Information Device ID, firmware version, calibration file version, system runtime, system time, device expiration date, etc. GNSS Status GPS time, latitude and longitude, attitude angle, number of satellites, etc. LiDAR Status Device status, working status, system status Project Status Project name, acquisition time, data size, free disk space Acquisition Mode LiDAR triggerring mode: height mode, speed mode, flight control mode, fast mode Camera triggerring mode: fixed time interval, fixed spacing, camera model selection Activate Activate equipment based on purchase / rental status Download Download system log Upload Update the firmware, and update the calibration file. Page 5 LiAcquire Web User Guide • GreenValley International Inc. 2 Function Description LiAcquire Web is a web page program, which does not requite to download any software. After the laptop establishes communication with the device, users can access http://192.168.1.88 from the browser to open LiAcquire Web. 2.1 Establish communication It is required to establish the communication between the laptop and the LiAir V to open LiAcquire Web. Preparation: LiAir V device, laptop with Ethernet port (or Ethernet adapter), Ethernet cable for LiAir V, device power supply (power supplied from DJI M210 / M600 aircraft). Follow steps below to establish communication between the device and the computer: 1. Connect the LEMO Connector of the Ethernet cable of LiAir V to the LAN port of the device and the other end of the cable to the Ethernet port of the laptop. For the first time being used, users need to change the computer IP settings; 2. Open Network and Internet-> Network Connection, select "Ethernet Adapter", right-click and select "Properties", double-click "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4)", and set the computer IP to 192.168.1.66, as shown in the figure below: 3. Enter http://192.168.1.88 in the browser; enter the username and password, and open the LiAir V Web configuration interface. The default username is root and the default Page 6 LiAcquire Web User Guide • GreenValley International Inc. password is 888888. Note: Google Chrome or IE11 browser is recommended. 2.2 Setup The setup contains three parts: Summary, Control Mode and Camera Mode. 2.2.1 Summary Summary interface - the system information of the device and the current status of the device. System Information Device ID: It is used to apply for a device activation file *.lic. Please send the the device ID to the GVI representatives for a sctivation file, which can be imported to the device through the Administration-> License. Firmware Ver1: the Firmware version number of the core board (support upgrade, see 2.3.2 Upgrade interface for details) Firmware Ver2: MCU firmware version number (upgrade is not supported) Capture Time: The time of the system being used in total to capture data (updated after each project) Camera Count: Total number of photos taken by the device (only applicable for the device Page 7 LiAcquire Web User Guide • GreenValley International Inc. with a camera) SN of the Calibrattion File: Calibration file serial number (device SN number). none is displayed if the calicration file is not uploaded Version number of the Calibration File: The version number of the calibration file. None is displayed if it is not uploaded. License Status: Device activation file status. None is displayed if the file is not uploaded; “until YYYY-MM-DD-HH: MM: SS” is displayed if the file is valid; “expired YYYY-MM-DD-HH: MM: SS” is displayed if the file is invalid. System Time: System time (UTC time) System Status GNSS Status: OK is displayed if GNSS device synchronization and IMU alignment are completed; otherwise Not Ready is shown. Click to jump to the 2.4.1 GNSS interface. LIDAR Status: The status of the LiDAR sensor. If the PPS is synchronized, it will display OK; otherwise, it will display Not Ready. Click to jump to the 2.4.2 LIDAR interface. Project Status: The status of the project. If the SD card is loaded normally, it will display OK; otherwise, it will display ERROR. Camera Status: If the camera time is synchronized it will display Sync; otherwise it will display Not Ready (only applicable for the device with a camera). 2.2.2 Control Mode The Control Mode interface is mainly used to set the acquisition triggering conditions of the laser/camera. Fast Mode: the default mode of the device. After the project is started, the IMU, LiDAR and camera data acquisition are turned on simultaneously. When the project is stopped, all data acquisition is also stopped simultaneously. In this mode, raw LiDAR data on undesired routes will be collected as well, which will lead to a large amount of data. Speed Mode: After the project is started, IMU data is collected. After the set speed conditions are met, the LiDAR and camera data start to be collected. If the conditions are not met, the data acquisition (including IMU data) and the project will be stopped. Page 8 LiAcquire Web User Guide • GreenValley International Inc. - Speed: Set the speed threshold, the unit is m / s, the default is 1 m / s. When the flight speed is greater than or equal to the set threshold, the scan is started, and the scan will be stopped if the flight speed is less than the set threshold for consecutive 10 seconds. Height Mode: After the project is started, IMU data is collected. After the set altitude conditions are met, the LiDAR and camera data start to be collected. When the conditions are not met, the data acquisition (including IMU data) and the project will be stopped. - Height: Set the height threshold. The unit is meter, 30m by default. When the relative height is greater than or equal to (height threshold – 5) meters, the scan is started. When the relative height is less than (height threshold – 20) meters for consecutive 10 seconds, the scan will be stopped. Note that when choosing to use this mode, the height is relative to the device height when the GNSS signal is synchronized. It is not always the ground height. Flight Mode (Reserved): LiDAR data acquisition is triggered via flight control. 2.2.3 Camera Mode The Camera Mode interface is mainly used to adjust the trigger mode and parameters of the camera. Camera Enable Settings Bar - Used to set whether to enable the camera. Trigger Mode Settings / Configure Information - Used to set the camera trigger mode and parameters Period Mode: Fixed time interval triggering, that is, triggering photos according to the set time interval. - Period: time interval parameter. The unit is second and the default value is 2s. Distance Mode: Fixed spacing triggering, triggers photos according to the set spacing distance. - Distance: spacing distance parameter. The unit is meter, 50m by default. Page 9 LiAcquire Web User Guide • GreenValley International Inc. 2.3 Administration The administrator interface mainly includes four parts: log file download, firmware upgrade, calibration file upgrade, and device activation. 2.3.1 Log Interface Click the Download button on the Log interface to download the log stored in the device for troubleshooting. 2.3.2 Upgrade Interface Import the firmware file on the Upgrade interface and click “Start to Upgrade” to upgrade the device firmware. 2.3.3 Calibrate Interface Import the calibration file in the Calibrate interface and click Start to Upload to upgrade the calibration file. Page 10 LiAcquire Web User Guide • GreenValley International Inc. 2.3.4 License Interface Import the device activation file on the License interface and click Start to Upload to activate the device. 2.4 Status The Status interface is used to display detailed status information of GNSS, LIDAR, and Project. 2.4.1 GNSS Interface The GNSS interface displays GNSS and IMU status information.
