Introduction
Brief introduction
ZL-2 consists of main box, compressor, condenser, cooling bath (evaporator)
and fan etc.
The Zl-2 refrigerator and the HW-2 constant temperature bath constitute a
constant low temperature bath, which is high efficiency. It cools water from 30
℃ to 10℃ in 45 minutes.
ZL-2 main box consists of bottom, foot, box cover, front panel, and rear panel
etc.

Function description

Power on switch
Power on switch is the main power switch. In ON position, unit is in working
status, inversely, unit stops working.
Before connecting to AC power, please ensure it’s in OFF position!

AC input socket is connected to the power supply with power cord offered in
this unit.
Please make sure AC power supply is connected properly！

The cooling fluids flow in the ZL-2 through this water inlet.

Installation
Unpacking and Checking
Open the package, take out manual, instrument, and accessories. And check items
according packing list. Any mismatch/damage happened, please contact marketing
department immediately.
Unit settle
It must be placed on stable work station/table and put damping pad between table
and unit.
Minimum space required around test is 0.5m, to ensure heat escaping. Clean
Instrument periodically to prevent it from abnormal cooling.

Pipe line connect
Connect the ZL-2 and the HW-2 with attached plastic pipe. The inlet and the
outlet are on the rear panel. The inlet of the ZL-2 is connected to the outlet of
the HW-2, while the outlet of the ZL- 2 is connected to the inlet of the HW-2.
The pipe suit with maximum temperature thimble is the shortest practical
length.
Soak the pipe in hot water to soft it before connecting the pipe.
Connect to the power supply
Link the socket & AC output socket of the HW-2 with attached power cord.
Cooling fluids
Suggest using distillation water over +8℃.
Suggest using mixture of tap water and laboratory grade ethylene glycol below
+8℃.
Do not use automobile anti-freeze.
Cooling bath
The blocked cooling system consists of cooling bath inside ZL-2 and constant
temperature bath. It gets up preset temperature in 30 minutes when distillation
water is used.
Operation
Not open when room temperature below +5℃ .
Not open without cooling fluids or no circulation.
Not open when fluids temperature below +5℃ or over40℃.

Power on
Turn the power switch to I position, the power indicator lights, the bath runs.
After the fluids without bubble flow smoothly, Turn the power switch of refrigerator
to I position, the power indicator lights, the refrigerator runs.
Power off
First turn the power’s switch of the refrigerator to O position, the power
indicator off, turn it off. Turn the power switch of the bath to O position, the
power indicator off, the bath off.
When the refrigerator shut off, allow about five minutes before restarting the
unit. Otherwise it will be damaged.
Maintenance
Must clean box and bath periodically, do not use steel brush, it result in damage
to the equipment.
Clean it at least on a month.
