“Jaws is a book about a great white shark which terrifies people at a
beach resort. Peter Benchley, the author, started his career as a
journalist.
It was his first book but it became a bestseller in 1974. A famous film
director made it into a film which became the summer blockbuster
of 1975”.
1. Have you read Jaws or seen the movie? What did you think?
Yes, I’ve seen the shark movie. I really liked it, I found it interesting.
2. What was the name of the film director?
Steven Spielberg is in charge of directing 'Jaws'.
3. Can you remember the opening theme music? How’s it going? Try singing it.
It was a really scary suspenseful music.
4. Compare Jaws to another animal movie. Say which one you prefer and why.
The Lion King is another animal movie. It tells the story of Simba, a young lion
who succeeds his father as king. I prefer the movie "The Lion King" as it has a
moving story.

I have seen the movie 'Jaws', it is an animal movie that I liked
very much and I found it very interesting. Steven Spielberg was
in charge of directing 'Jaws'. I remember that I had suspense
music that made me very afraid.
The Lion King is another animal film. It tells the story of Simba,
a young lion who succeeds his father as king.
I prefer the movie "The Lion King" because it has a moving
story.
