MANAGING YOUR MILES
Why have I not received the MilleMiglia Program welcome bonus miles?
The welcome bonus is credited only if the first transaction registered with the Program (with Alitalia or
airline and commercial partners) was made within three months from the date of enrollment into the
MilleMiglia Program.
Do the miles have an expiration?
The miles do not have an expiration date as long as one mile-earning transaction with Alitalia or its airline
and commercial partners is made within a 24-month period.
As for qualifying miles, valid to access or renew membership to the Exclusive Clubs, the count resets on the
31st of December of each year.
Do all Alitalia fares entitle me to earn miles?
All Alitalia fares (with the sole exception of Light fares for flights between Rome and Paris and vice versa,
with booking classes W, L, O, & R) entitle you to earn miles.
Is it possible to earn miles for flights or transactions carried out before enrollment in the MilleMiglia
Program?
Yes, you can request miles for transactions carried out up to four months before the date of enrollment in
the Program.
Is it possible to accumulate the miles earned by multiple people on the same account?
The MilleMiglia card is personal and may only be used by its owner. With the miles transfer service you can
still share up to 60,000 miles per year with friends and family members who are also members of the
Program.
Is it possible to accumulate miles earned on two different SkyTeam programs on the same account?
The frequent flyer programs of the different SkyTeam airlines are independent from each other, therefore
it is not allowed.
Are the miles credited automatically?
The miles are only credited automatically (on Alitalia flights, in about two days) if the number and/or the
MilleMiglia card is shown at check-in and when you use partner services.
To avoid any mishaps in crediting, we recommend keeping the boarding pass and tickets or the e-ticket
receipt until you receive notification that miles have been credited to your account.

What should I do if the miles for a flight have not been credited?
For tickets on Alitalia flights, you can make the request directly online via the service Request Miles or
through your Club's Customer Service.
For tickets with airline partners, or for purchases from the "Griffair" onboard shop, you need to send a copy
of your boarding pass and ticket or receipts from your purchase, indicating your name and MilleMiglia
number, within four months of the flight date:

In any case, keep in mind that it will take about four weeks to process your request.
How long will it take to receive missing miles after having requested them?
Credit of missing miles takes about four weeks from the request date, provided that the documentation is
complete and legible.
What do I need to do if I am not credited miles from using the services of the Program's Commercial
Partners?
If you are not credited miles from using the services of the Commercial Partners you must contact the
Partners directly.
