Dear Whittier High School Parents,
Please be aware, contrary to erroneous media reports, THERE IS NO OUTBREAK OF
Tuberculosis (TB) at Whittier High School.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health notified Whittier High School that
only one individual associated with our school has been diagnosed with Tuberculosis.
They worked with us to identify the students and staff who may have had contact with
the individual. All individuals have been screened and assessed. This message is
informational only and there is no action required from you at this time if you have not
already been contacted by Department of Public Health. We will keep you informed of
any further developments, and if you require further information, please call the

of all students and staff.

Queriamos notificarlos de que contrario a los reportes en las noticias, no hay ningún
brote de Tuberculosis en Whittier High School.
El Departamento de salud pública del Condado de Los Angeles nos ha notificado que
solamente un individuo asociado con nuestra escuela ha sido diagnosticado con
Tuberculosis. Trabajaron con nosotros para identificar a los alumnos y personal que
