Dear 7th Grade Parents - Einstein Charter Schools

 Dear 7th Grade Parents: The 7th Grade Rising Ceremony , which takes place at 1pm on Monday, May 23 rd , is a rite of passage ceremony for our 7th grade students as it of icially marks the passing of leadership responsibilities from our 8th grade students on to our 7th grade students. It is a time for the Einstein community to come together to encourage our 7th grade students to accept their role as leaders in the middle school, exemplifying Einstein’s expectations of safety, responsibility, respect and always ready to learn. Our ceremony will include music, a speech of encouragement to our 7th grade students given by one of our 8th grade students, and a passing of the symbolic torches of leadership, safety, responsibility, respect, and readiness to learn. We are asking our girls to wear a white dress with black or white dress shoes. B
oys are to wear black slacks with black dress shoes and a button­down dress shirt. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. It’s amazing just how quickly the time has passed this school year! It is with great pride and high hopes that we pass the “leadership torch” on to our “soon to be” 8th grade students. I hope that you will join us for this very special event! La ceremonia es una tradición de promoción para nuestros estudiantes del 7º grado, ya que o icialmente marca el paso de las responsabilidades de liderazgo de nuestros estudiantes de 8º grado a nuestros estudiantes de 7º grado. Es un tiempo para que todos juntos como Comunidad Eisntein vengamos y animemos a nuestros estudiantes del 7º grado a aceptar su papel como líderes en la escuela secundaria, quienes ejempli icaran las expectativas de Einstein que son la seguridad, la responsabilidad, el respeto y siempre listos para aprender. Nuestra ceremonia incluirá música, un discurso de estímulo a nuestros estudiantes del 7º grado dado por uno de nuestros estudiantes del 8º grado, y el paso de las antorchas simbólicas de liderazgo, seguridad, responsabilidad, respeto y disposición para aprender. Estamos pidiendo a nuestras niñas que utilicen un vestido blanco con zapatos de vestir negros o blancos. Los varones deben usar pantalones negros con zapatos de vestir negros y una camisa de vestir con botones. Los familiares y amigos están invitados a asistir. Es increíble lo rápido que el tiempo ha pasado este año escolar! Es con gran orgullo y grandes esperanzas que celebramos esta ceremonia de paso de la "antorcha de liderazgo" a nuestros "prontos a ser" estudiantes del 8º grado. Espero que se unan a nosotros para este evento tan especial!
