Suggested General Intercessions for Lay Ministry Sunday
That all the baptized will humbly welcome the word which has been planted in us and live it in
loving service as volunteers and lay pastoral leaders, we pray to the Lord. . .
For the Church, that like those who brought the paralytic to Jesus, God will raise up men and
women of faith who will be not only hearers but doers of the word, we pray to the Lord. . .
That the gifts God has given us in Baptism will be used in gratitude to serve with joy and
courage, we pray to the Lord. . .
That we will confidently place our trust in the Lord and allow the Spirit to guide our hearts in
discerning a call to lay pastoral leadership, we pray to the Lord. . .
In gratitude for the many persons who serve this parish community as volunteers and lay pastoral
leaders, we pray to the Lord . . .

Intercesiones Sugeridas Para El Domingo De Ministerio Laico
Para que todos los bautizados humildemente reciban la palabra que ha sido sembrado en nosotros
para vivir en servicio amoroso como voluntarios y líderes laicos pastorales; roguemos al Señor.
Para la Iglesia, que como aquellos que llevaron al paralitico a Jesús, Dios levante a hombres y
mujeres de fe que sean oyentes y agentes de la palabra; roguemos al Señor. . .
Para que los dones que Dios nos ha dado en el Bautismo se utilicen en agradecimiento para
servir con alegría y valentía; roguemos al Señor. . .
Para que pongamos nuestra confianza seguramente en el Señor y permitamos que el Espíritu guie
a nuestros corazones a discernir un llamado al liderazgo pastoral; roguemos al Señor.
En agradecimiento por todas las personas que sirven esta comunidad parroquial como
voluntarios y líderes pastorales laicos, roguemos al Señor.
