Happy 65th Birthday
Today, March 26, 2013 we celebrate 65 years of serving Veterans and families. We Salute our founder
Dr. Hector P. Garcia and all Forumeers past and present who have made this possible.
On March 26, 1948, Dr. Hector P. Garcia, and
WWII Veterans created the American GI Forum.
Since then, many prominent people have donated
their time, resources and talent to the Organization. Members, long gone and some that are still

members. We will continue to add to our “Hall of Legends” from time to time as we receive photos. We must
never forget our history. v
