Individual Learning Plan (ILP) - New Prairie United School

Individual Learning Plan (ILP) / Plan de Aprendizaje Individual (ILP) Once a student is considered Limited English Proficient (LEP) and placed in the corporation’s ELL program, the ELL coordinator at New Prairie United School Corporation will work with classroom teachers to create an individual learning plan (ILP) for each student based on the student’s English proficiency level and current grade level. The ILP will indicate the recommended instructional method for English language development as well as appropriate classroom accommodations and modifications. The ILP will also indicate accommodations to be used on standardized tests such as the WIDA ACCESS test and for ISTEP+ testing. Copies of the ILP will be distributed to the student’s classroom and/or content area teachers and the original will be retained in the ELL file within the student’s permanent record. ________________________________________________ Una vez que un estudiante es considerado limitado en inglés (LEP) y colocado en el programa de ELL de la corporación, el coordinador de ELL en New Prairie United School Corporation trabajará con los maestros para crear un plan de aprendizaje individual (ILP) para cada estudiante basado en el nivel de inglés del estudiante y el grado actual.
