Side Fill Design Change
TO: ALL DISTRIBUTORS OF STEMCO WHEEL END PRODUCTS
STEMCO introduces a new 4009 hub cap side fill casting design change as a continuous improvement effort to
aid in filling oil wheel ends through the side fill plug.
A running change to the new design is targeted for release by the end of August 2007. The design
change involves moving of the side fill boss further out from the flange to eliminate the chance of spindle
interference when adding oil through the side fill boss.
A list of the part numbers affected by this change is listed below. STEMCO part numbers will remain the same.

Tapa 4009 Cambio
en diseño de llenado
A TODOS LOS DISTRIBUIDORES DE PRODUCTOS STEMCO
STEMCO introduce un nuevo diseño en la tapa 4009 como un esfuerzo continuo en mejorar el llenado de aceite
en la Terminal de rueda por medio del orificio de la tapa.
Este cambio en el diseño esta programado para ser efectivo a finales de Agosto 2007. El cambio en el diseño
consiste en extender la base junto con el orificio del llenado de aceite para evitar la posibilidad de que esta
interfiera con la espiga al momento de ser llenado.
Una lista con los números de parte afectados por este cambio es mostrada a continuación. Los números de parte
STEMCO permanecerán igual.
