Bibliothek für ausländisches und internationales

Der Bücherbestand zählt im Juli 2014 über 13.000
Bände. Ferner enthält die Bibliothek etwa 120
Zeitschriften des ausländischen und internationalen
Strafrechts. Die Bibliothek ist damit in dieser Form für
eine rechtswissenschaftliche Fakultät einzigartig. Sie
dient auch als Forschungsbibliothek für die im
Dezember 2013 gegründete „Forschungsstelle für
lateinamerikanisches Straf- und Strafprozessrecht“
(CEDPAL).

In july 2014 the library possessed more than 13.000
books and approximately 120 foreign and international
criminal law journals. Thus, the library is unique for
any Law Faculty. It also serves as a research library for
the recently founded “Centre for the Study of Latin
American Criminal Law and Justice” (CEDPAL).

En julio de 2014, la biblioteca cuenta con mas que
13.000 libros. La Biblioteca contiene, además, más
de 120 revistas de derecho penal extranjero e
internacional. En el ámbito de las Facultades de
Derecho, una biblioteca de este tipo es única. Ella sirve
también como biblioteca de investigación para el recien
fundado “Centro de Estudios de Derecho Penal y
Procesal Penal Latinoamericano” (CEDPAL).

Die Bibliothek soll deutschen und ausländischen
Forschern zur Durchführung spezifisch auslandsund
international
strafrechtlicher
Forschungsvorhaben
dienen; zugleich ist die Nutzung der – in Fußnähe
befindlichen – sonstigen Göttinger Bibliotheken,
insbesondere der Niedersächsischen Staats- und
Universitätsbibliothek,
und
der
sonstigen
(elektronischen) Ressourcen der rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät möglich.
Die Bibliothek für ausländisches und internationales
Strafrecht gehört zur gleichnamigen Abteilung des
Institutes für Kriminalwissenschaften der GeorgAugust-Universität Göttingen. Sie ist Teil der
strafrechtlichen Bibliothek der juristischen Fakultät.
Die Bibliothek wurde im Sommer 2003 vom Leiter der
genannten Abteilung, Richter LG Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Kai
Ambos, eingerichtet
und
finanziert
sich
aus
universitären Eigen- und Drittmitteln (Spenden).
The Library for Foreign and International Criminal
Law belongs to the department of Foreign and
International Criminal Law of the Institute for Criminal
Law and Criminal Justice of the Georg-AugustUniversity Göttingen. It is a part of the Law Faculty’s
library for criminal law. The library was established in
summer 2003 by the head of the afore-mentioned
department, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Kai Ambos, and is funded
by the University and other sources (donations).
La Biblioteca de Derecho Penal Extranjero e
Internacional forma parte del Departamento del mismo
nombre del Instituto de Ciencias Criminales de la
Universidad Georg-August de Göttingen. Ella es parte
de la Biblioteca de derecho penal de la Facultad de
Derecho. La biblioteca fue creada en el verano del
2003 por el director del citado Departamento, Prof. Dr.
Dr. h.c. Kai Ambos, Juez Regional, y se financia con
recursos propios de la Universidad y de terceros
(donaciones).
Die Bibliothek enthält zum einen Bücher zum
ausländischen Straf- und Strafprozessrecht aus den
großen Rechtskreisen des common law (insbesondere
Großbritannien, Kanada und USA) und des civil law
(insbesondere Frankreich, Italien, Spanien), wobei
insoweit Lateinamerika (insbesondere Argentinien,
Brasilien, Chile und Kolumbien) einen besonderen
Schwerpunkt darstellt. Vereinzelt werden auch Werke
aus Afrika, Asien und dem islamischen Rechtskreis
gesammelt. Zum anderen bildet das Gebiet des
internationalen
Strafrechts
(Strafanwendungsrecht,
Rechtshilfe, europäisches Strafrecht, Völkerstrafrecht)
einen Schwerpunkt.
The library shall serve German and Foreign researchers
in carrying out specific research on foreign and
international criminal law; at the same time it is
possible to access the other Göttingen (law) libraries
nearby, in particular the Lower Saxony State and
University Library, and the other (electronic) resources
of the Law Faculty.
Su objetivo es servir a investigadores alemanes y
extranjeros a llevar a cabo proyectos de investigación
de derecho penal extranjero e internacional, quienes, a
su vez, pueden utilizar las otras bibliotecas de
Göttingen -que se encuentran en la cercanía-,
especialmente la Biblioteca estatal y universitaria de
Baja Sajonia, y las demás instalaciones y recursos
(electronicos) de la Facultad de Derecho.
The library contains, on the one hand, books on foreign
criminal law and procedure from the major common
law (especially Canada, UK and USA) and civil law
(especially France, Italy, Spain) systems, laying a
special emphasis on Latin America (especially
Argentina, Brasil, Chile and Columbia). On a selective
basis titles from Africa, Asia and Islamic law are also
collected. On the other hand, the area of international
criminal law (jurisdiction, cooperation in criminal
matters, European and international criminal law stricto
sensu) is of particular interest.
La Biblioteca contiene, por un lado, libros de derecho
penal y derecho procesal penal extranjero de los
ámbitos jurídicos del common law (especialmente Gran
Bretaña, Canadá y los EEUU) y del civil law
(especialmente Francia, Italia y España). Al respecto, el
derecho latinomaericano también ocupa un lugar muy
importante (especialmente Argentina, Brasil, Chile y
Colombia). También existen obras de Africa, Asia y
del derecho islámico. Por otro lado, la biblioteca posee
una amplia variedad de libros sobre derecho penal en
ámbito internacional (derecho de aplicación de la ley
penal, cooperación y asistencia judicial, derecho penal
europeo y derecho penal internacional).
