CATHOLIC FUNERAL RITES AND CEMETERY SERVICES
The Community Outreach Staff from Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery, a Ministry of
the Diocese of Reno, will be here on April 2nd and 3rd to discuss the spiritual and prac cal reasons
for learning about Catholic Funeral Rites and Cemetery Services. A er each Mass, there will be a
short presenta on along with a Q&A session.
Our Catholic Funeral tradi on affirms our belief in the communion of saints and our trust in
Jesus’ promise of everlas ng life. Burying the dead is one of the Corporal Works of Mercy, incumbent upon every Chris an. The Church’s rituals enable us to honor our dearly departed with solemn
and tender devo on. I take this opportunity to recommend that all Catholics explore the services
offered by Our Mother of Sorrows to be er understand the spiritual and financial benefits of planning ahead for their funeral and cemetery needs.
The burial plans they offer are flexible, affordable, & designed to meet your cemetery needs.
Their facility, close parish rela onships and compassionate counselors ensure that your funeral Mass
and burial commi al are well planned. Their onsite Most Holy Redeemer Chapel has capacity for 80
and is picturesque with its hand laid mosaic works of art, stained glass and tradi onal Catholic altar.
By taking advantage of this opportunity to understand the importance of a Catholic funeral
and burial, you will walk away with a be er understanding of the importance and ease of planning
ahead to ensure peace of mind for you and your family.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Jacob Carazo OFM Conv

DETERMINATION
ENTRADA
El Señor es mi luz y mi salvación, el Señor es la defensa de mi vida;
Señor, a tu imagen.
Quiero serte fiel. Tú vendrás, Señor, a mi lado. Llevaré la buena nueva a mis hermanos.
COMUNIÓN
Es mi cuerpo, tomad y comed, es mi sangre, tomad y bebed;
El Señor nos da su amor como nadie nos lo dió, Él nos guía como estrella en la intensa oscuridad;
El Señor nos da su amor como nadie nos lo dió, para la gente del pueblo es el hijo de José;
El Señor nos da su amor como nadie nos lo dió y su amor tan grande que lo condujo hasta la cruz;
El Señor nos da su amor como nadie nos lo dió. En la cruz el salvador su propia vida nos donó;
Perdón porque he permitido no acusarme y acusar.
