Estimados padres de familia de Middle School:
Friday night, September 28, the Middle School is proud to present the year’s first “Rec
Night”. Rec Night is a traditional Middle School event designed to provide an evening for
our students to come to school and have fun participating in a safe, non-academic
environment. We have music, dancing, games, and food. Rec Nights also give our students
and teachers an opportunity to spend some time together in a non-classroom setting.
El viernes, 28 de septiembre por la noche, la Escuela Media se enorgullece en presentar la
primera Noche Recreativa del año. La Noche Recreativa es un evento tradicional de la
Escuela Media, diseñado para brindar a los estudiantes, una noche en la que pueden asistir a
la escuela y divertirse, participando en un ambiente seguro y no-académico. Tendremos
música, baile, juegos y comida. Las Noches Recreativas también ofrecen, a nuestros alumnos
y maestros, una oportunidad de pasar tiempo juntos, en un lugar fuera del salón de clases.
The event begins at 7:00 PM and ends at 10:30 PM. Students are charged 60 pesos to enter
and pay additionally for their food, drinks and to play the games.
El evento se realizará de 7:00 p.m. a 10:30 p.m. El costo de la entrada es de 60 pesos. La
comida, bebida y juegos tienen un costo extra.
Occasionally our students will request to bring friends from other schools to our Rec
Nights. This is generally not encouraged, but it does provide us with the opportunity to let
your children spend time with students from other schools and it does allow the non-ASFG
community to know more about our school. In order to provide safety of our students, it is
very important that we are confident that the Rec Night participants are people we know
and trust. Therefore, any ASFG Middle School parent of a student who wishes to bring a
guest from another school must fill out a form available in the Middle School office or at
the entrance to Rec Night, sign it, and send it with their ASFG Middle School son or
daughter to turn it in to the door attendants at Rec Night. No guests will be allowed to
enter unless this process is followed. ASFG Middle School students may bring a maximum of
two guests.
En ocasiones nuestros alumnos invitan amigos de otras escuelas a nuestras noches
recreativas; generalmente no fomentamos esta situación, pero esto nos da la oportunidad de
que la comunidad que no pertenece al ASFG conozca más de nuestro colegio. Para poder
ofrecer seguridad a nuestros alumnos, es muy importante que los invitados que participan en
la noche recreativa sean personas que conozcamos y en quienes confiemos, es por esta razón
que cualquier padre de familia que desee traer un invitado de otra escuela, debe llenar y
firmar una forma que encontrará en la oficina de la escuela media o a la entrada del evento;
dicha forma la entregará en la puerta al ingresar a la noche recreativa. Ningún invitado
entrará al colegio a menos de que cumpla con este procedimiento. Se permitirá un máximo de
dos invitados por alumno.
This procedure guarantees that the guest is a middle school aged student who is known and
trusted by a member of the ASFG Middle School Community. The form also states that the
ASFG student who brings the guest is responsible for the actions of his or her guest.
Esta medida nos garantiza que los acompañantes sean niños de la edad de los alumnos de la
escuela media y que vengan acompañados por un miembro de nuestra comunidad en quien
confiamos. Dicha forma también establece que los alumnos que traen invitados son
responsables de los actos que éstos realicen.
