If you are feeding the local outdoor cats,
thanks for being a good neighbor!
You can help improve their quality of life.
Neutered cats make better neighbors — less howling,
fighting, and no more litters of kittens!
Please continue to feed and care for the cats while
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is being performed – the only
proven way to humanely decrease cat populations.
Outdoor cats require spay/neuter (TNR) services.
1.
The cats are trapped with humane (painless) box traps and
taken to a veterinarian to be spayed or neutered and vaccinated.
2.
The vet will “eartip” them. An eartip is the universal symbol of a
sterilized feral cat (see photo below).
3.
We need your help, and ask that you continue to feed and care
for the cats when they return home.

Por favor continúe alimentando y cuidando a los gatos mientras
se realiza el plan Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR, AtraparEsterelizar-Regresar) – la única forma comprobada de reducir
humanitariamente la población felina.
Los gatos callejeros necesitan los
servicios de esterilización (TNR).
1.
Los gatos son atrapados mediante trampas humanitarias (sin
dolor) y se les lleva a un veterinario para que sean esterilizados, y vacunados.
2.
El veterinario les cortará la puntita de la oreja. Una oreja
con la punta cortada es el símbolo universal de un gato
salvaje esterilizado (ver foto de abajo).
3.
Necesitamos su ayuda y le solicitamos que continúe alimentando y cuidando a los gatos cuando ellos regresen a
su hogar.
