_3C PILOT PROJECT IN CORDOBA “Music of Cordoba” 1. INTRODUCTION The secondary objective of the document called “STRATEGIES FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE COMPETITIVENESS AND CREATIVITY OF THE CULTURAL INDUSTRIES IN CORDOBA: ACTIONS AND MEASURES” was to propose an initial pilot project for the launching of an experimentation, to be carried out in the short-term, which will be described and structured in this paper. Since the planning of the project, within the initial form, the philosophy of this step for the realisation of a pilot action, was included. In fact the Historical Heritage is traditionally considered as a work of the past creativity. A more innovative point of view can also interpret it as a factor of cultural generation, inspiration source for contemporary creators and as a scenario for a meeting between present and past creativity. In this sense, an alternative formula for its valorisation is to understand Heritage a set of "new spaces" usable for the development of contemporary creativity: it can become a place where it is possible to develop the work of the artists and where citizens meet visual and scenic arts, literature, music, dance and cinema. 2. AMBIT OF WORK Strategic frame. Exploiting the Cultural Heritage as vector and scenario for creativity. Experimenting alternative methods for the valorisation of the Cultural Heritage through contemporary creativity. Expected Results. Use of city’s local Heritage elements as "new spaces" for local creativity to develop the work of the artists. These places will also become a place where citizens will meet visual and scenic arts, literature, music, dance and cinema.
