Thank you. We continue to solicit your prayers for the families affected by the horrific accident on April 17th in the City of West, Texas. In addition, for those wishing to make a monetary contribution to aid victims and surviving family members of the blast, the Church is accepting donations to aid in the city’s recovery. If you would like to make a donation, please provide your donation to any of the elders. (Please make sure checks payable to Cedar Hill Church of Christ.) We are reviewing how best to utilize any amounts collected and will forward the receipts to an approved organizations responsible for coordinating relief and recovering efforts. It is time for us to start thinking and preparing for our Summer Kamps. We are taking donations for those kids that would love to come to Kamp with us that can’t afford to do so. Our Mission “To be a Family where all people find peace and purpose in Jesus Christ” On May 2, 2013, at 7:00 p.m., we will meet at the Cedar Hill High School Performing Arts Center(1 Longhorn Blvd., Cedar Hill) to unite in prayer as a community. Each year, we offer a noontime opportunity for prayer and reflection by a local congregation. This year, we will meet at The Historic Chapel at First United Methodist Church (128 N. Roberts Rd, Cedar Hill) during the noon hour for those who may not be able to attend the evening event. To our family at the Cedar Hill Church of Christ, Tiffany & I would like to express our deepest gratitude for the Wedding Shower we received. We cannot say thank you enough for all the blessings you have given us. It was a day that we will never forget and I feel truly blessed to call Cedar Hill Church of Christ my home congregation. DARE TO DREAM: We want to say a very special thanks to all who came and helped in the Children's Ministry work day on Saturday. There is no better fellowship than when brothers and sisters spend time together for a common cause. A number of things were accomplished, but we still have a lot more to do. Plans are continuing for the painting and decoration of our children's classes, and we will begin this process within the next few weeks. Please let Dennis Eastman know if you would like to assist in this endeavor. Lock-in: On Friday night, June 7, there will be a lock-in for students who are just completing 3rd through 6th grades. Be sure to invite your friends!! We will have a night of fun to unwind from school and to prepare for our busy summer.
