I am sorry to advise you that I have not found any legal error to argue in your appeal. I read
the record on appeal (the transcripts in your case) but I found no argument which had merit.
Since I found no meritorious argument, I am going to prepare a “Wende” brief. A “Wende”
brief, advises the court I have found nothing to argue in your appeal. A lawyer who works
for the court will read all the transcripts in your case to see if something happened in your
case that was not fair. You have the right to send a brief with arguments which you think
have merit to the court of appeal. You will have 30 days to file that brief with the court.
I will still be your lawyer. If the court finds something which should have been argued, I
will present that argument. However, you can ask the court to relieve me as your lawyer.
