MAKING THE MOVE TO EL MONTE TEMPORARY STATION
Metro and Foothill Transit will be moving to the nearby El Monte Temporary Station on Sunday, September 12,
2010, from the current station. The old station will be rebuilt over the next two years to provide expanded transit
service and customer amenities. There are two phases during this transition period:
PHASE ONE: SAT, SEPT 11, 2010 @ 12:01AM
The parking garage and parking lots next to the Lower Level platform will close to the public. Transit and
construction vehicles only will be permitted into the area. All vehicles must be removed from this area by this
date or be subject to towing at owner’s expense. New and expanded parking is available at the former Chevrolet
lot off Santa Anita Av just north of the 10 Fwy.
PHASE TWO: SUN, SEPT 12, 2010 @ 12:01AM
El Monte Temporary Station will open and the current El Monte Station and Lower Level platform will close.

• Outside at Santa Anita Av & Ramona Bl: Lines 267, 268, 287 & El Monte Shuttle
Extra staff will be on hand to assist passengers during the transition. We encourage passengers to become
acquainted with the location of the Temporary Station and their bus stop before Sept 12 and to allow extra time

REUBICACIÓN A LA ESTACIÓN EL MONTE TEMPORAL
Metro y Foothill Transit se trasladarán de la estación actual a la estación El Monte temporal el domingo 12 de
septiembre de 2010. La estación anterior será reconstruida durante los próximos dos años para proporcionar
servicio expandido de tránsito y servicio al cliente. Hay dos fases durante este período de transición:
1º FASE: SÁBADO 11 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2010 A LA MEDIANOCHE
La estructura de estacionamiento y los aparcamientos localizados a un lado de la planta baja, serán cerrados
al público. Solo vehículos de tránsito y de construcción serán permitidos en el área. Todos los vehículos deben
ser movidos de esta área por esta fecha o serán remolcados al costo del propietario. Estacionamiento nuevo y
expandido será disponible en el terreno anterior de Chevrolet sobre Santa Anita Bl al norte de la autopista 10.
2ª FASE: DOMINGO 12 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2010 A LA MEDIANOCHE
La estación El Monte temporal será abierta y la estación actual y la plataforma baja serán cerradas. Favor de ver
el mapa para ubicaciones de abordamiento.
• Dentro de la estación temporal: Líneas 70, 76, 176, 190, 194, 270, 487, 577, 770, Silver Line, Foothill
Transit y Greyhound
• Afuera en Santa Anita Av y Ramona Bl: Líneas 267, 268, 287 y El Monte Shuttle
Habrá personal adicional para ayudar a los pasajeros durante la transición. Los pasajeros deberían
familiarizarse con la ubicación de la estación temporal y las paradas de autobuses antes del 12 de septiembre
y para permitir tiempo adicional para tomar su autobús durante los primeros días del traslado. Para más
